I'm so sorry everyone, for some reason I did not realize how close we were to deadline, and I'm on vacation so I can only check in at certain times. It occurred to me as we were leaving this morning that I didn't know when the deadline was, but my family was already yelling at me to get a move on it, so there was really nothing I could do.

 

I'm good with a Vam lynch, pending any night results that clear anything else up.

I have blocked the player that I believe is among the mafia, which could block the night kill but also should block either the compulsion or the silencing. If no one demonstrates either tomorrow, then I'm pretty sure we can have a safe lynch.

Hurin sniffed the air. There was a killer among them. He had caught the scent a couple of times but hadn't been able to pin it on anybody. Hurin waited a few more minutes and then decided to go back inside. Just as he was entering the Stone, he caught the smell again. It was coming from directly behind him. Hurin turned and saw two glowing pits of fire set in a sneering face.

 

"You time has come, thief taker." Hurin tried to run, but didn't get very far before he was consumed by a column of flames.

 

 

Aust, Hurin, Cop (town) has been nightkilled.

 

 

Taim watched the others huddle in fear. The Shadow had definitely sown chaos here. Things were still somewhat balanced, so Taim had not yet chosen a side. He would chose whoever offered him the most. It would be interesting to see how things played out. Just as he started walking back towards the others, a bar of bright white light screamed through the air and struck him in the side. His colors seemed to invert for a second before he dissolved into nothing.

 

 

Vambram, Mazrim Taim, Survivor/Framer (neutral) has been nightkilled.

 

 

It is now Day 6. You have until Tuesday at noon ET to lynch someone. With 25 alive, it takes 13 to lynch.

Crap. Sorry I missed the deadline ya'll. I am sick, and have spent the latter part of yesterday and most of today in bed or throwing up. Doesn't leave much time to get on the computer.

 

Anyway, I really hope we hit scum with the random....and if we're still wanting to get rid of Vam, I might have a way to make that work out...

Two nightkills in one night.... I find it incredibly odd that mafia nightkilled Aust, instead of a player that doesn't start with A... Just seems more cunning to let us bury ourselves with the A tip, instead of scratching one person from the list. And the Vambram hit.... also strange, seeing as we would have probably lynched him come this day, what with where things were leaning towards the previous day. So why bother with a nightkill when we can do the work for them?

 

If I'm not mistaken,there was one kill a night (except one night where there was no kill). My guess is that mafia ousted Aust... but that the Vambram kill was maybe some sort of one time night ability of someone who is town. It just doesn't make sense for mafia to nightkill Vambram.... and of course there's the subject of having two people nightkilled instead of the usual one.

 

Those are my thoughts right now... going for a power walk. Or a walk of power... not sure if there's any difference, but I'm gonna make it count!

You actually make a good point. I didn't see that keyholder posted that... so it would stand to reason that she used a one night ability to nightkill Vambram.

As for the rest, Key killed Vambram and Aust was the NK choice for the mafia. I don't understand the choice of Aust, but I doubt it was a random choice.

 

Personally, Quibby is my lead suspect right now.

One time post. Just wanted to tell everyone to have fun! I wish I could keep playing, but I'm getting married next weekend, then have family stuff, and then a conference for work and I wanted to make sure you had a Dragon Reborn that could pay attention to you *g*. I had a blast and hopefully I'll get to play with you all again soon!

Nyn, it could have been that Vam (Taim) was a solo and could choose his side in the long run. So he could have made it worse for us townies or not. At least the uncertainty is gone.

 

The only reason I can see is him outing AJ as Innocent. And him being a cop says that that is true. But he was on the suspicious list of the 'A' group, so why out him. The only thing I can think of is that the mafia guessed he was finder when he said that AJ was innocent, because she is actually mafia and has a Godfather Role. So the only way he would know she was innocent (or was given that) would be if he was a finder. So they could work out who he was and with his death, who would question AJ being Innocent, he was Finder after all and found her innocent!

Sorry that I've not posted in a while, but I've another take on the whole "Why kill Aust if he's an A?" question. What if the Mafia knows that the A thing is completely off base, and so weren't worried about removing another from the list? I haven't thought this line of reasoning all the way through to its logical conclusion yet, but food for thought.
