First off Pete always seems scummy. Him wanting to get rid of a nuisance doesn't really make me think he is scum. Of course if he turns out to be scum I will so be pissed for saying that!  Haven't you all noticed that Danya voted for Wombat first? Just pointing that out.

 

Verb you bring up a good point. I was actually going to change my vote. I have been waiting to see how the tide turns you may say. Sadly none of them have any votes on them. Is my vote on you making you that uncomfortable? Scared that you might get more? Just curious as to why you keep hounding me about my vote on you. Makes me think you have something to hide.

 

Okay, MCS has posted on DM 20 posts today. Out of them this was one.

Dah I know it is hard to keep up with so many players in the game. All we need to know is that you all are reading and keeping up and then VOTE. If you don't and we can't reach a majority I suppose that problem will be solved. After all day ends tomorrow.

 

No explanation given. He did that yesterday too. He has only posted 7 times that I count. Now, to me he is either too busy to care about the game or trying to lay low and try to go unnoticed. He is being very active in some of the other games he is in. Yes, I check out his profile. I just picked his because of the vote with no explanation and no real activity. I really don't like players that do that to be honest. I would rather, "I have no clue so I am voting *****".

I find that odd and well disturbing.

 

Are people voting for Al Jenn just because of the poking inactive players? It seems odd to me to vote for someone based on that. In a game this big we can't afford inactive players.

 

Remember yesterday when you all thought I was scummy for voting for Talmanes with his posted LoA. Well, he turned out to be scummy.

i still think that verbals reaction to wombats post was a bit aggressive, especailly since wombat was the only one who had voted for him.  also the fact that he completely ignored the possability of wombat having a PR, which is what i think wombat has right now.

 

i have a bad taste in my mouth about jesters, so i' un opposed to getting rid of one asap because of the amount of damage they can cause. but i'd rather wait to find out if its a post restriction first before just up and voting for him.

I don't think we're going to get our 14 by the deadline. I refuse to vote for Wombat. He's a non-entity only here to annoy us (if he is in fact the jester and not just under a PR). That is why I am suspicious of all the people that want to do him in now instead of trying to get a bad guy. That just doesn't sound like good strategy to me. It seems like a delaying/manipulating tactic. We waste a lynch on somebody that can't do anything but annoy us with posts and what do we get? Nothing. No information. No dead mafia. No clue as to who might be mafia. Nothing. What we lose is the chance to exercise our intelligence and try to win this game. That's all I have to say on the matter.

With a list that long I am kind of put out I am not on it. Seriously though people if you don't vote you run the chance of being mod killed. Even if we can't pull it together for a lynch at least vote for someone.

I'm not sure who to vote for yet; that's why I haven't voted. I will definitely be on before the deadline tomorrow, and I will cast my vote either for someone I really suspect, or perhaps to get a majority. But I will vote, and I have been following along with the game.

 

In the defense of people not posting as much, well, that can be the problem with big games. If you don't have as much time as others to be reading the thread all day, you can get very behind within only a fwe hours and start to feel overwhelmed. So far I've been okay with this game, although that is happening to me already in another game I'm in. So, I guess what I'm saying is, cut 'em some slack.

I'm catching up and getting ready to jump into Pete's Dr. Who game. (He started it while I was away, the brat!) I just noticed the deadline is the same in both games. Would those of you in both games prefer that we postpone this one to Friday? We can have a Friday end-of-day and a Monday end-of-night rather than a Thursday-Monday situation, which is what I'd planned for the next few game days. With this many players, you need time to come to a majority, and I know a few of you (two of my bondeds, in particular) are not EVER on on weekends, so I'm staying away from those days for deadlines. As the numbers thin out, we will be moving faster, of course.

 

So, what do you all want to do? Want another day or not?

I always prefer deadlines not on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as that is when I have class. It really sucks that I miss most of what happens when I am in class (except for when I get to read some from my phone in class. ;D)

His first game (Chrono's Death Note that just finished at the BT), I was Kira...or the Godfather basically. He was the Chief, who knew 6 townies, and me. I lied to him when he asked if I was Kira...

Since then...in the small time...we have kind of been after each other. :D

I actually thought he switched me which is why I cursed him instead of one of the other 5 or so people online.

 

Anyways...that is why I am not voting for him. ;D

This just sparked some ideas in my head.

earlier someone was saying we would waste a lynch, instead of trying to find scum.

First, there is still a small chance Wombat is scum.

Also, he has half the votes needed for a majority. Why not just lynch him so we have a more controlled lynch?

Why leave it in the hands of that evil lady who watches us fight amongst ourselves for her own devious pleasure? :D :P

 

But seriously, random modkill v a lynch on possible scum or jester?

 

It seems to me that if Wombat just had a PR, there would be a lot more of a 'fight' to lynch him.

Jeez, I really need to check this thread more than once a day.  nearly ten pages every time I read.  :P

 

So the thought of Al off-talking was suspicious, but that's been debunked. 

 

Min and Verb are having a playful exchange, as are Nae, Talya....and a third(Crap, I am not rereading just for that). 

 

Wombat.....is freking annoying either way(No offense Wom).

 

Ed worries me though.  Not enough to justify a vote(Yet), but enough to draw me eye.  The problem I see is how he knew who was online.  I'm not certain how he established that, other than checking the who on at the botom of the home page.  Not an illegal tactic(that I know of), but one that feels unethical to me.  Plus not sure how he would associate action against him as having to be one of them.  Who says that Lily responded immediatlyt to a NAPM, and then immediately informed him of the resuilts.  :-\

 

Seems odd.  But, it may be just an assumption on his part. Again, not voteable, just suspicious.

Min - I completely understand, and your point is fair.  But it is a mafia tactic to throw suspicion on out others and keep a vote somewhere else.  It accomplishes 2 things:  First, it allow you to lay future breadcrumbs for lynches, and second, it allows you to keep your distance from those player by not voting them.

 

 

Red - first you say I'm being overly defensive with my response to Wombat (your initial vote on me), and now I'm overly aggressive?  Those are 2 totally different responses....
