And even add like roster bonuses and stats bonus , playoff wins sb win whatever. Maybe worth another $40-50 cap hits no more than 40 per Avg.  I'm fine with that.  Even with this little reset it looks like in 2-3 be big balling again.

As much as I hate agreeing with you...lololololol.  I'll do both.  Yes obviously I Agree books are better ...but the shows really really good....1st season was kinda meh but really gets a lot better season 2 and so far it's freaking epic season 3.   You can't accept change lol but it would need to be like 15-20 seasons at least with like 30 full movie length episodes each season lol.  Plus TV adaptations need to both be made to work for TV and TV watching audiences and so people who didn't read the book can watch and get into it and follow along.  And I know they changed exact story beats but again because it's gotta be made for those previous things I just mentioned.  I promise man if you can sit there and not focus on that it's not 100% the books I know you'd like it.  I'm not saying it may be your favorite show ever...but it's the LAST new Wheel of Time were getting and it is good bro.

The thing is there is a lot of pressure from the NFLPA to not take below market contracts because then it devalues everyone. Think what happened to RBs recently. I think the lowest he can sign for is about $45M a year average. There could be some incentive bonuses to bump it up. If they were categorised as difficult to obtain then they would not count against the cap (unless reached, then it.would count against next year, I think). The other thing they could do for cap space is.put a bunch of it into signing bonus then allocate as they think it works.out possibly with void years.

Ya one thing gotta say 49ers front office is the best at "working* the Cap.  But with this whole Jed York needing money back and stuff if Purdy would take whatever the absolute lowest he can is on a like 4-7 year deal  9ers can get some big-time free agents and work the draft and be a top team for another 5-10 years easy.

I've followed Detroit Lions since about 2006 I think. At that time there were no pro teams in Southern California (unless you count USC, LOLOLOLOLOL) I have been a USC fan since the 70's. Anyway, a couple of the players that had recently graduated from there found themselves with the Lions so I cheered for them. I thought about Seattle but didn't because Pete Carroll left after getting the team in trouble.

 

My sports fandom is in many parts a history of contrariness. I'm from the Los Angeles  area. Growing up my dad's teams were the Dodgers and Rams.( We even had a ticket package where we all went to like 6-8 games a year. Mostly promotional things.  It was I think a special thing for.kids). So naturally my teams were the Angels and the Vikings because cross town rivals and the Rams and Vikings played in the playoffs a lot in the 70's (weirdly I still liked the Lakers and Kings. Still do but can't easily follow here in UK). I switched to the Bucs because John McKay became their first HC. But they let him go so I dropped them.

Yes. They do a good job with the cap. One reason they do is they let people go or trade them 1-2 years before they absolutely have to so they generally get some return thru trade or compensatory draft picks. Unfortunately some times it happens like this year. In order to make it work you have to draft well, cause you can't.pay everyone.  I think Philly is gonna face that in like two years. A lot of the big contracts are back loaded. I guess they hope they can restructure for the players they want and let the rest go. I guess we will see.

Growing up in Oz thru the 70s and 80s you only really heard about certain american sports teams

 

for NFL they were 49ers (my dads team) Cowboys (my mums team) Steelers, Giants and Packers. Plus the Packers wear Australia's National Colours! They were the team i always remembered because for some reason i always associated them with the song Sitting on the Dock of the Bay which ive always really liked.

 

Same thing with baseball  you heard Yankees, Cubs, Indians Dodgers mainly. Then in 2013? The Dodgers and Diamondbacks came to Sydney. The only MLB team ive seen play is the Dodgers. My daughter and I watched them play Australia at the SCG.

 

And I dont like stairway to heaven at all.
