If you want to cheese it, everyone can start their posts with a unique user tag.

 

As in if I copy and paste 49384 at the top of every post and you search that number in thread, it will yield an ISO.

I followed up and I'm waiting to hear back.  The solution isn't free, so it is out of my hands on whether the cost is "worth" it or not for the site as whole.  We have to remember this isn't a mafia site, so solutions that are going to be 99% for mafia aren't going to always get pushed through no matter how much we wish they would be.

 

Sorry that isn't the best answer, but it is the truth.

Would you be privvy to how much traffic or whatever the mafia subforum brings as a percentage of the entire site?

That question crossed my mind as well - I know a lot of DM users were willing to contribute to the crowdfunding for the site upgrade... additional upgrades to make mafia games easier to play (or at least as easy as they were under our previous software) could be done on donations too if it's reasonable.

I don't think it's just Mafia that needs the function to be able to search for a person's content without needing a key word. I saw Elgee said she needed it for reports so it might be useful for staffly duties too.

I looked through the stats on the admin panel and I can't find exactly how to tell which subforums are getting visits compared to others....it just shows the site as a whole.
