I mean sure, I get the rationale of making me the gunbearer and I sorta saw it coming.... in the sense that I was kinda consensus town anyhow and confirming anyone else would reduce the PoE... with that said Tina or Marsh making me the gunbearer is close to suicide.... so I'm pretty sure whoever chose me made it cause I miscleared them. That means Ley or Turin. And I'm leaning towards it being Turin. 

 

Why? I think dice was mad at him and it feels like it could be beyond just what was going on ITT. Also I'll be rereading dice to see his mentions of Turin and Ley... what I was talking about previously irt Tina was dice's weird 180. Only the 180 was on both Tina AND Turin. But yeah... I'll look into it tomorrow... kinda late right now.

 

Would be really sweet if I get to shoot Turin AND win the game. But 1/2 wouldn't be too bad either.

Reads in order of scummiest down to townies:

 

dice: In addition to garnering a majority of votes ( and being the only player voted for at all... ) he does seem to be playing into his scum meta by avoiding the conversation. In my mind, post #232 was damning. Conversation had turned toward gameplay at this point and he knows better than to continue clowning. On re-read, I also did find his post #101 to be interesting for the purposes of possible distancing.

 

Turin: Pushed dice from his first post and never let up. In 2 different posts he asks if the person thinks he and dice could be mafia together ( post #329 and an earlier entry). I have him down for 4 bad posts - #95 (see what you think) , #128 (slightly changes reads to go with the flow of the game) and #187 & #313 (they are related in that post #187 discusses a somewhat detailed read on dice in the previous Fight Club game, but in post #313 Turin says he doesn't remember it that well... this is the closest thing to a lie I've seen in the game so far).

 

Iron (Marsh): Bad posts for #115, #116 & #123. Nyn catches him and scolds him good for it. His response is meh. The rest of the game he plays measured and carefully.

 

Leyrann: My earlier points were genuine, but were admittedly bait to see who jumped on them (or avoided the thread over them). 

 

Niniel: Has a soft play style. Reminds me a bit of Wifi. Could be a sleeper, but could just be sleepy. No real standout posts for me.

 

Nyn: Solid play so far. Asking the right questions and paying attention to the answers.

I've been preoccupied and would need to get my computer to properly Show much. Things off the top of my head that I need to verify.

 

Ley: asked Niniel that if dice was aggressive should that not be a town tell. Also, Dice asked me why I had Ley on the town side of null. Both of these feel like mafia trying to get townies to put forward reasons for town reading their teammates. Reasons they can then sheep and then drop blame on the townie putting it out. Basically setting up false links.

 

Marsh: just very lurky. I still don't know why he has done anything this game. I haven't been paying as much attention as I was kinda blinded that they could be teammates again. Bad reason. Step it up Marsh.

 

Niniel: seems to be trying to get credit for being the first "Vote" on Dice despite essentially following my reasoning. There was a line in her actual vote that said something like "this is my vote but do what you think best".

 

I think Ley is my first choice as Mafia. I need to check Dice for connections. Gonna be later tho.

You might be right about Turin. I read DPR´s post about him too. I have had him as town but I will do a very quick re-read and see what I can find.

I read Dice´s posts. I would not feel good if he and Turin faked that argument. They could have, and it could be a real argument,  but I really wish they are not on the same team and did any of that. That is what I wish but I can´t say if it´s true or not.

Just read the first of Ley´s posts. He sounds sincere in his posts and he sounds like he use to outside the game. He does seem to protect Dice early though. I know he doesn´t like to vote early but, as has been said, this is not a hammer game.

Turin: Would be leaning mafia, except I don't think he's on the team with Dice.

 

I know it's not a whole lot, but I feel like the game has been dominated by Turin, Nyn and the focusing on Dice so far. Would probably be able to say a lot more when D2 starts, considering we have at least one more confirmed alignment then (either DPR hits town and we have this town confirmed, or he hits mafia and we have a dead mafia confirmed plus another town confirmed).

 

This post doesn´t really make sense if Ley is mafia with Dice. Why would he say that clearly that Turin can´t be mafia with Dice? Then he has sort of cleared him for today, which isn´t good if he is mafia. If he was mafia he would have tried to keep it more open, right? Sure, he seems open to go after me and Marsh. Maybe he thought that would be enough?

 

 

Really, the only thing I have against Ley is the maybe defence of Dice but everything else looks good. Will take a look at Marsh.

I mean, if I were scum and a mafia genius I could have done what looks like suicide in order to WIFOM my way into being cleared... but I'm neither scum nor a mafia genius. Also I'm not that bold. Neither is Niniel in my estimation. I think your reasoning in this post is solid.

I keep the game perpetually up in a tab on my laptop, so it often looks like I'm reading the game when I'm actually doing something else. Usually homework.

I think what I said was I'm not sure on Turin or Ley, and Dice being fluffy is worrisome. It's similar to the strategy we used to win last game. He posted just barely enough to get town read, and I tried to subtly direct attention away from him

 

Ironeyes said this early. Why point out how Dice played as mafia in another game if they were mafia together now?

 

 

Thoughts on all the players please.

Nin: I'm not too comfortable with her yet. I'd feel more confident on her if I saw a little less hedging 

Ley: Gun to head town, but I'm not at all solid on that read 

Dice: Looking pretty scummy ATP 

Marsh: Lock town 

Nyn: Probably my top town read behind DPR. However, I reserve the right to change that at a later date because I have a vivid memory of being swept by deepwolf!Nyn in a game a few months ago. 

DPR: Lock town

Turin: Basically inverse of Ley. Gun to head scum, but I have nothing to back it up but a gut feeling.
