Hmm. I liked Perrin, and I thought Moiraine looked amazing. I understand getting rid of the staff because it’s kinda an unnecessary prop since it gets destroyed in the middle of book one. 
 

Lan looks like he’s in linen pajamas, which I don’t totally get, but there we have it. Everybody else is passable. 
 

I like the Logain pic, but I’m not totally sure what’s up with the clothes he’s wearing. He was captured in a battle, he should be wearing practical clothes, especially since that’s a lot of Logain’s style. 
 

Shadar Logoth looked amazing, and I can’t wait to see the city. 
 

I’m trying not to judge too hard based off of pictures, and I am really excited for the show, even with all the changes.

Yep! My favorite character is Tony Stark. I love how he took his future into his own hands, and I love how he protects people he cares about. He does have flaws though, and I’m not afraid to admit it. But as someone who also suffers from anxiety and has an incredible desire to protect the people I care about, I can really relate to him. 
 

What is your favorite film? Mine is Iron Man followed by Thor Ragnarok. Loki is my favorite TV show (Yeah, I really like Thor and Loki too)

That's a cool idea! There is also a theory that she is Latra Posae Decume, the woman who opposed Lews Therin's plan to seal the Dark One. This lines up a bit with how Egwene was opposed to Rand's plan to break the seals, but in this Age they agreed on one plan.

Hey folks. In the BT Information Thread I added a few things. I added titles for the different ranks (not necessary to call people by, but in case you want to be formal) as well as changed the name of Asha'man second level. Now once you reach 400 points you are called a Storm Leader or Tsorovan'm'hael, because having two levels of Asha'man was confusing, and not accurate to the books, whereas the Storm Leader is. I didn’t switch the order of Attack Leader and Storm Leader like they are in the books, I thought that might be too confusing a change right now. Tell me if you think this is a good change, or if you preferred Asha'man second level, and I will take it into consideration. Thanks. 

Alright. Since you haven't given me an answer @Illian Tear, I'm just gonna go ahead and change it. It makes way more sense and has no downside.

A Reddit user suggested that we call the whole world Aesrhoid (Allworld) and Randland Amandhol (Land of the Dragon). I think these sound elegant enough to be good names, and they aren’t spoilery since you are literally introduced to the Dragon in the first page.

For me, my top 10 (not necessarily in order) that I'm really excited to see in the show is:

 

1) Winternight: Lan fighting Trollocs. Pretty sure this has got to be in episode 1 right?! 

 

2) How they portray the One Power being used: are we gonna see it in Episode 1 from Moiraine's POV?

 

3) Shadar Logoth: I hope it's horrifying! Likely episode 2 " Shadow waiting" ? Right? 

 

4) What they do with Logain: there's quite a bit they could creatively add without actually ticking off fandom. Logain was an interesting and important character that we could have gotten more from earlier. Do that. 

 

5) The Ways: like Shadar Logoth I think they can make this cool & scary & entertaining. 

 

6) Aiel. Don't think we're getting to see them hardly at all in S1. But surely they're gonna be big part of S2. And I still think the prologue opening scene for the show should be the Dragon born on Dragonmount and the prophecy being given to Suian, Leane, and Moiraine. 

 

7) Forsaken: I think they cleverly cast Lanfear & Ishy under the guise of the Grinwells. Really hope we get 3D antagonists who are well developed in S1. 

 

? 8. Padan Fain: honestly, he was one of the better written characters of EotW. I think they'll do an excellent job with him. 

 

9) The character quirks: if Nynaeve isn't braid tugging and cursing and sexist & if Matt isn't dicing and joking and a wanna-be ladies man, and Rand isn't trying to be the protective, small-town, perfect gentleman... I'm going to be pretty disappointed... This was definitely one of RJ's strengths in protraying characters. Brandon Sanderson's comments make me think they did a good job with the characters. Looking forward to seeing it. 

 

10) The sets: we definitely are getting Emonds Field and Shadar Logoth, and likely getting Fal Dara; but I hope we also get Tar Valon & Whitebridge.

I really, really want to see the prologue. That has always been one of my favorite scenes. 
 

I want to see the dream sequences and Shadar Logoth especially. I would also love to see Fal Dara and how the Borderlanders behave not just towards Lan, but everyone.

Definitely Asha’man pins. Nobody makes good ones. Heron-mark swords would be great too. I would like posters, especially of Lan or Rand. Other than that, there isn’t anything I’m really hoping for.

I bet. I wasn't saying Mother was in the wrong, I think she handled that situation well (I have no experience in that area though), I was just saying that sometimes people's backgrounds don't excuse their actions (in reference to Mother's customer)

Hey, @Illian Tear, I'm putting in the correct titles for the different ranks in the information thread, but we have a problem with the Asha'man second level. The title would have to be the same as the Asha'man first level, and that's confusing.  I have an idea to fix it though. Instead of saying Asha'man second level, can I change it to Tsorovan M'Hael or Storm Leader? In the books, Tsorovan M'Hael was a rank just below Baijan M'Hael (Attack Leader), so it makes more sense.

Very true. But I don't think that gives you a reason to be nasty to other people. For instance, if I had a bad day, I'm not going to come on to DM and be rude to everyone who has a question for me, or a problem that could be solved by looking through information threads themselves, but they didn't. I think you should keep in mind that people are more than what you see, and cut them a little slack, but also keep in mind that their problems don't justify all of their actions.

I'm a sucker for things that make me feel emotions I don't naturally feel, or feel easily. Ever After is always my feel good happy with a cry movie, and I love it.

 

Loki was great, I loved it too. I think it's edged in front of Falcon & Winter Soldier, but only barely. Marvel over all has put out some great movies, though i'm finding the TV shows really hold their own as well. Still need to see Black Widow. Of them, Captain Marvel. Hands down. 

Yes, the TV shows are great. I haven’t finished tFatWS yet, but I loved Loki so much. Especially 

Black Widow was pretty good. I won’t spoil anything for you.
