I've added a section about spoilers in the BT Information Thread. Please go and read it so you are aware of the new spoiler policy of the BT. Thank you. 

Spoilers:

The Black Tower is by nature a pretty spoiler-filled club (just look at the name) so not much will be changing regarding spoiler rules. However, with the WoT show out, there are some rules regarding spoilers that were not previously in place. 

Book spoilers: These do not need to be spoiler tagged. While I'm sure many would appreciate it if you did, it is not mandatory, and the Staff will not reprimand you for posting a spoiler comment without a tag. 

Show spoilers: For a month after the entire season has been out, that season’s content must be spoiler tagged. Spoilers are not allowed in thread titles. Show spoilers no longer need to be tagged a month after the whole season is out. If you fail to follow these rules, the Staff has the right to edit your post so it fits the spoiler rules. If you consistently ignore the spoiler rules, a Staff member will contact you, and you will be given consequences. If you believe you have been falsely accused, please contact the Dragon (Illian Tear) or the BT Moderator (Asha'man Shar'aman).

In the show, maybe. In the books though, it's an almost certain no. I believe in the WoT Companion, it says that which side of the OP you access is determined by the gender of your soul. So the Dragon, who has a male soul, will always channel saidin, even if the Wheel were to somehow place him in a female body. The reason Aran'gar could channel saidin was because the soul was originally male, the DO just placed it in a female body. So even if you were a trans channeler (assuming you have a gendered soul that corresponds to your birth sex (so male to Assigned Male At Birth (AMAB) and female to Assigned Female At Birth (AFAB)) you would still channel the half of the Power corresponding to your soul's gender. For example, if you are a trans man, you would still channel saidar, because the Wheel placed a "female" soul into a biologically female body. 

There was a discussion I started about gender fluid channeling here and people said similar things to what I said above, so there's that if you want to check it out. 

It's something I wish was different in the books, and that OP access was determined by gender and not your soul, but unfortunately with the time these books were written, that doesn't seem to be an in-world possibility.

  I agree a hundred percent with this, Mother. I've been staying away from all the discussion threads because people can get toxic. Rather stay on the nice, safe, comforting side of DM. 

As for something I like about the show, I love what they did with Logain, especially in the beginning of episode four, where they showed him sparing the King.

I also think it's a great way to show his character. 

Another thing I loved about Logain was his capture. I loved the pressure he was putting on the Aes Sedai, and

I'm not sure. There's archives of the old BT, but I don't know how the OP games worked, so it might be difficult, especially to find specific people. The OP games aren't currently going, they kinda got lost in the transfer it seems, but it's something to think about bringing back, maybe once we have more members.

Like @Arie said, staff and mods still have access, but the games themselves are not currently in the club. There has been some talk of reviving them, but it's still on the back burner for now.

You too?! Did you read it the same way I did? I misread it originally and only realized sometime around the Gathering Storm I think, thanks to the audiobook. I decided it wasn't worth changing it to the correct pronunciation.
