Where's AJ at?

AJ is finding himself increasingly interested in other things than trying to read dozens of pages every time he checks DM.

 

I thought the point of the hydras were to compensate for people's lack of playing time? Not double their post count for the same slot. Seriously, 4/6 top posters split two slots. Zander has over 250 posts and I don't even need to read half of them to know the majority is I trimmed quote strings and rhetorical questions that have already been answered but are asked anyway because he's incapable of doing a coherent summarization of the thread.

 

I have no idea why Sili is the lead wagon. I haven't read anything thoroughly since I last posted last night and tbh I probably won't be spending my evening tonight doing so. I am sticking to my guns with Belieber. I don't really care what sort of thread presence he has/effort he is applying questionable logic is questionable logic and his case on Celeste was terribly subjective and implies a ton of bad motive when none is readily present. In more simple terms he was reaching hard and doubled down on a bad case and that was the majority of his content when I was last caught up. Another point is that up to then Celeste hardly countered him and instead went after Darthe. Too early to really call anything solid on that but it doesn't look good for either B or Celeste imo.

@ AJ I thought you were looking forward to a faster and higher volume game? I've been at half of my usual volume at best and Zander is always super easy to read through quickly even for a nitwit like me so I don't really see where this game has been particularly overwhelming.

I'm pretty sure you didn't interact with Tiink even once between these two posts (unless I missed it in the ISO). Not much of a "grilling". You also imply that he wouldn't be the only one you'd be grilling via your theory, by labeling him the first. So you can appreciate how the lack of follow up is.... questionable.

What bothers me somewhat is that I'm scum reading both Sili and Tiinker, and I feel like it's a bit too easy. They have defended one another and Tiink jumped on Sili's Cass read far too easily. I am not sure it makes sense that they as a scum team would tie themselves together so openly.

uh, how have i defended tinker by giving him a town read? and any villager can read me town just as easily as a wolf. it depends on whether you believe their reads are genuine i think.

 

honestly i don't even remember why tinker is town reading me. i believe he was with me in arguing about the absurdity of believer's reads though, although believer was totally off his rockers so he seemed totally in the right.

 

I would go back and find examples of places where I feel you two have been oddly in tune with one another while simultaneously off key with the rest of the thread, except I've just read the majority of this thread and I really don't feel like doing it again. At least not right now. Possibly later. I'll consider it.

 

 

My thoughts on Cass were that she gave the most generic reads of anybody so far. Detailed or not it's like she picked the most obvious path in her thought process in determining each and every player. Felt odd at first because in that way the post was pretty much useless and on a second look it solidified a viewpoint that she might be scum. Don't know what's so hard to decipher in that. If you think the timing was odd then I don't know what to tell ya.

 

Also Believer seems to have taken a step back now after trying to sheep everyone. You can call it being in tune but I don't think I was agreeing with Sili as much as I was noting how Believer was trying to herd the crowd to his conclusion by providing people with no-win situations (agree with me or scum). 

 

 

 

I just see Wifi as being more careful as scum, and if she was scum and knew that we (darooh) isn't on her team she would have seen that it was a joke.

 

 

My thoughts on Wifi summed up. Maybe I'm being played since I haven't played a game with her but she doesn't comes off as malicious in any way so far.

Other game thoughts so far? Honestly, having a hard time placing hydras since I've never played with one before and obviously haven't got the methodology down. Shad seems town, Zander's contribution is like 1:100 in regards to posts with substance and spam, so what am I supposed to think? Someone help me out with this. I'm going to agree with Nyn on AJ's current situation being strange. Calling me out on my vote has merit if you buy that much into joke votes but then he forgets about it and doesn't mention it at all. I'd think he was trying to get the game rolling as town but then he just packs up and leaves. Mafia has got to exert more effort so I think he's more likely scum who cbf anymore. If he was town he would've lazily voiced his thoughts.

Did the Darooh case ever go beyond low post count? / Darthe being D1 troll? I had both those things as null. I've seen Town!Sooh quiet on D1, they both mentioned being short on time and hence hydra in sign-ups so that doesn't bother me. And there were a couple of posts from Darthe that could have been indicative of him actually analysing things in the background, eg one where he asked everyone how much I'd played recently.

 

I remember Celeste's reason for the vote, but not WiFi or Shad's. Kinda feel like this is a crappy/too easy place to vote D1.

Tiinker I think could be scum. I wasn't a fan of his vote on AJ, felt like he was trying to blend. Didn't like his shift on Cass within minutes, or him trying to split hairs with Nyn over calling his stance on her null. He also calls her read list fluff, when her read list was very well explained where's his was lacking reasoning for most of his impressions. I'm also not a fan of his argument irt Bee, saying he said that dice should have been lynched just for not being helpful. Believer made it pretty clear that he thought dice wa scum. So that's just a lot of sequences where we just didn't feel good about him. And then he vanished, but he is on different time. So that I am willing to let go.

 

I disagree with this. How am I blending in? There weren't any votes on AJ and people had been calling him town for a good portion of the game. As for arguing with my stance on null we're playing a game where the whole point is to pick apart people's statements to find signs that they're working for the other team. Forgive me for wanting to make my stances clear. And again I vanished because it's called night time on this side of the planet.

My initial problem with Hallia was how she was joking and not commenting on anything happening, but that has since been cleared up. Shad and AJ strike me as the always do, people trying to solve. They can fake that well but at this point if they fool me, well shame on me. I dont have the energy to read 30-49 before deadline. Darooh may as well not exist. I always wolf read Celeste/Wifi, so im depending on Shad for the Wifi read and cop for the Celeste read.

 

That leaves Dice, Tinker, Cass, Kat and Sili. Cass her big posts were almost always tl;dr, my eyes glazed over, but she was putting forth alot of effort. I dunno if she does that as a wolf. Dice was pretty laid back earlier on as well, so few problems there. Tiinker, Kat and Sili are my top ones atm.

How best can I sum this up for you? Derf got confused and thinks he and Sooh are a 2-player scum team rather than hydras. He may never catch on but luckily he doesn't know how to format votes, and Sooh happens to be a villager so it's all gravy.
