I do that a lot as scum. See Laine in PF and manbat in GnD. It's a scum tell for me, but it works so I keep doing it.

Good morning. My computer won't start at all today. :( So it will be a short wrap up post.

Thank you all for playing. Thanks to Tress for helping me. The game was a little slow on D2 but I hope we can have another game like this because then maybe I could keep up and play. :)

I might commit to tunneling Eldrick. It's safe because he doesn't fight back much and it's out of character for my scum game: I've historically tended to push a big fish like Pizza/BFG/Zander D1 as scum.

Sorry town that I couldn't get myself to look deeper at Shad. I was quite distracted. Both in game and out.

 

I think if Hallia hadn't made that swap vote I would have only had tinfoil doubts about her as cop. I probably still say I doubt initially to see what happens But then clear them both and look around More.

To be fair you were on to me for the wrong reasons, and she corrected that. I do keep my joke vote for a long time these days.

Yes, this was pretty awesome. I saw that and I was like "There's no way in hell I'm character claiming!"

Town did well.  Eldrick was super townie, and so was Tab if you know her meta (we haha killed everyone who did ).  I was 100% convinced Hallia was VT up until she claimed cop--she has really distinct PR tells and she avoided all of them; Well done on that.  Lily had the disadvantage of never seeing either of us scum before, and Turin called out my buddying attempt straight out the gate before set-up speculation bogged him down.  I think Zander and Thane would have caught on if they'd lived longer.

 

I've wanted to scum with Sooh for a long time and this was the perfect game for it, because very few of you have meta on either of us.  We kind of systematically pushed/NK'd the people most likely to recognize our personal scum tells, and that did the job.  Sooh GOAT imo, and the apparent link between me and Tab was no accident so don't beat yourselves up over that one.

I had a ton of fun (and nailbiting) this game. 

 

Thanks for being awesome Shad, and all the rest of you as well. It wasn't easy to catch us this game. 

 

Reading the DT it kind of reminds me of that time when Cory replaced into my second game ever when I was SK and Dice was scum, and Cory SNAP read Dice and killed him off when the rest of us had no clue. We play slightly differently based on whoever else is in the game I think, and if anyone who knows me better was in this game and pushed me more I wouldn't have played it like this. It's one of those things that just happens. Nobody needs to beat themselves up over this game, because it was a really difficult solve, and as you saw it was increasingly difficult for us as well to point at reasons why the townies were scummy, so well played everyone.

At least I was right about shad, in a sense. He slotted tab as town for no reason. I just had the reason he did it wrong.

 

Not even.  I knew Tab and Zander would be the only two to really understand why town!Shad would give Tab such an easy town read here, and once Zander was dead I tried pretty hard to play protective of her in a way that was just slimy enough to pass as a partner.  It worked, and I'm pretty stoked about that.  I think you and Lily made a sound call, it just happened to be a trap.  :)
