Somebody made a statement earlier regarding Cass that she tends to wait late into the phase to vote the established lynch of the Day when she's scum. Somebody should pull her vote on Sooh D1 and let that be brought forward again.

 

Cass was one of the last to vote Wombat, fwiw, and voted very very late on Sooh

 

I remember marking her down as a non-voter on d1 and remember her vote on Wombat because I was trying to CORY CABOOSE it, but people refused to let me

Keep in mind I haven't talked with Halli yet so I might re-evaluate with her input in mind. But this is basically what I'm thinking right now. Also, I haven't gotten around to ISOing and such. Mostly feelz and memory.

Kaylee - I've mentioned her as a town lean since early on. Nothing has changed and her involvement and input hasn't diminished in quantity or quality. 

 

Leelou - Reading Lee as sort of been a work in progress. At first I was okay with her, then she gave me a weird vibe with her tongue in cheek responses when I was I was asking her questions. But ever since she became more present in the game (ie after coming back from her vacation) she's been prodding, nudging, asking questions, engaging her suspects and overall I feel like she's trying to drive the game towards a solve. 

Tress -Liked her read list and the fact that she's wary of Cory gives her points imo. I'm seeing paranoid Tress and that's usually a good sign. I still want to hear more from her because the more content I have to work with, the more secure I can get with my read.

Cass - For all the reasons I indicated in my posts yesterday. She's been pushing her suspects. I don't feel like she's worried about how she comes across, which is something she dwells on A LOT as scum.  I don't feel like she's avoiding the thread. She's taken head on every comment made about her and every question directed at her. I liked how she handled the pressure on D1 and I just don't see her being scum in this scenario. I think she's likely an easy mislynch target for scum, seeing as she's been rolling scum a lot lately and managed to fool people. These things linger but are ultimately irrelevant in THIS game.

The last 4 are basically my POE for scum at this point. I will wagger there are at least 2 scum in that group and that I'm prolly misclearing someone. If I had to guess anyhow. I haven't had time to ISO them properly but I can say this. As far as general impression goes Wombat is actually the one out of the four that seems okayish to me. This might change when I dig deeper into his posts but I do recall that there were posts of his I liked. The only problem is that Wombat can make good posts as scum too so we'll see what I manage to pick up on. AJ, as I mentioned previously, dwelled quite a bit on seer cover and the timing of the reveal that would benefit town the most. This is a very smart way to gain townie points by not actually scumhunting. That's basically all I remember from him off the top of my head. I will take a look at his posts (hopefully today).... but I don't trust him. I never do. Verbal I'm really not sure of, and that's my problem. It's been quite a few games now that I've read him as town right off the bat either in games I was playing with him or games I was spectating. But here we are at D2 and I still just don't know. I don't feel like he's pushing himself the way he usually does when he's town. Not a good sign. And Clov?  Just don't like him. I don't like his tone, his attitude and his pushes (ie Cass and dice). I'll look at his posts too but I'm just not feeling him this game AT ALL. Out of the 4 he's the one I like least. Our interaction yesterday did nothing to make me feel better about him.

 

 

I'm gonna try to ISO all 4 today and give more indepth thoughts. I will add that Halli mentioned not liking Clov either and having a town read on Verbal. But like I said.... the thoughts above are mine alone.

I spent way too long trying to figure out how the second post in the first link (talking about my push on you) had anything to do with coaching Cass.  

 

The first two DEFINITELY read like coaching.  The last two wouldn't really have stood out to me if you hadn't brought them up.  I think he would probably have made them regardless of whether they're aligned or not.

I'm not going to fight a lynch on anyone of Cass/Sooh/Dice/Leelou/Tress today.  I would probably put Cass a half spot ahead of the rest of them, just because I liked the effort she gave in explaining her reads, and I think they make enough sense coming from her POV to not light them on fire.

 

I think Wolf!Clov is too conscientious about "looking good" after flips to make this post, tbh. Because with the addendum that Cass is the best looking of the five, this looks to be a list of exactly four villagers

Wwwwombat spent some time play acting like he wanted Darthe to shut up more about his seer cover; with the addendum that Darthe specifically talked about how he ascertained his peek, I think this all feeds into a very conceivable narrative that the wolves thought Darthe was the seer. This just looks like a set-up to say "yeah, I thought Darthe was the seer, it's why I tried to get Cass off his back and tried to get him to be more subtle about it."

 

There's like a 99% that Darthe was killed because he had seer equity and Wombat being thread-aware of it and trying to use it to coax villager points is extremely telling.

 

I know some of this is redundant but it helps me to remember why I think the things I do.

Why so high on Cass?

 

I know she hit a lot of "feels villagery" emotional tells, but remember there was signficant movement pushing her on d1 and she needed to do something to get people off her back. She is a crafty player and when pushed into a situation as a wolf, she will try very hard and do what she needs to in order to get clear.

 

I'm not calling her a wolf, but I don't think she's done anything this game that she isn't capable of doing as a wolf

Mostly I feel she's handled herself well with pressure. She's just my next best guess. I'm a lot less sure of everyone else on that list. I could be wrong but it's what i feel.

I say what I say about Cass specifically because she's a player that follows her heart and is more than capable of making good reads as a villager

 

If you browse over our little spat on d1 (I remember Wombat chiming in on this, gonna be fun to see what he said) Cass' defense is basically "you expect too much from me, I'm not really a good villager, I am paranoid and etc. etc." and she made a lot of really clever emotional appeals but the fact of the matter was she was trying to figure out ways to set up a narrative of "I am Cass, and I am going to be a poor villager this game" which just sketches me out so much because A) Cass is not a new player and should not be given "new inexperienced player" treatment; she's actually got more than a few games under her belt now and B) she's usually a very competent player who makes confident reads, even if she is wrong now and then. It all seems like some pre-ordained excuse.

 

IDK either her confidence in her villager game is at an all-time low for some reason or she has another reason for setting up that narrative.

 

She's going to be a key slot for me to figure out, just like yesterday.

You may be right...except for the confident part. I've read her mentor QT'S and she's stressed as villager as well, just less so.

 

Anyway I choose her mainly for picking a third. Out of the remaining on the list she's the next one I'm leaning less likely. IDK.

Verbal is almost certainly mafia IMO. He made a lot of effort to keep Wombat as a mafia suspect, but I really don't see any work towards getting a Wombat lynch. The strongest argument he made was Wombat's progression on Kaylee on D1 (which I didn't think was too bad) then moved on Cass D2.

 

That's consistent with his theory there would be one mafia between Cass-Sooh, but he later told somebody (Nyn?) that he's been 90% on Wombat all game and 5% on Cass. If that's the case, why did he limp on Wombat?

Your second part is what really made me wonder on him. Doesn't fit. Why not go after your biggest scum read?

Ok, just finished Sooh's ISO for the millionth time and happy to [v]Sooh[/v]

 

Been piecing together quotes and can back this up but - formatting issues/?unecessary/time. Voting now to show I've been reading her and have made up my mind. Basically I feel like her play since she got FoS'd has been scummy. I don't like the switch in her defence, I don't like the whymefryme, the playing to 'I see how you guys could be getting me wrong' in contrast to what I'm interpreting as dismissive 'you're lynching Town'. All feels like last ditch wolf defence rather than villager actually trying to contribute too/solve the game.
