Pro tip though, something I learned with my friends daughter last year, when she starts teething do NOT comfort her by having her sleep with you.

Let her cry and be in pain. If you take her to bed with you and your wife you wont be able to put her to bed anywhere else for the next 2-4 years without a lot of trouble.

when teething there are 2 things that really help. 1 americans cant do but

 

1 put some Vegemite on her dummy

In all seriousness it appears to be extremely repetitive with lazy storytelling.

A lot of people want to spin that as it being a loot driven FPS with a story that fits in the background that you discover as you play.

I find that to be an excuse from people who are embarrassed they spent $60 on such a bad game.

 

Even taking what they're saying as a given, the story was left incomplete and in order to get a satisfying conclusion you're going to need to buy the already on disc DLC which they have scheduled for release in 2015.

 

All in all it's the worst of what you'd expect from Activision.

The in-game plot is lacking.  You're spot on there.  The grimoire cards you obtain have a lot of plot on them (and "in-game trivia"), so you can definitely piece things together, but I understand why people aren't crazy about having to obtain collectibles and then check them online for a story.
