Read Roman numerals I and II, that should explain.  They are a little more lenient on the language than it suggests, but think of it as like ....talking to a 8 year old kid of someone whose opinion you care about.  Don't use words you wouldn't use in front of them.

I needed to check something ... the bad word can actually be used in the position of a noun, a verb, an adjective or an adverb.
