That is too cute Key.

Seriosly tho, how do you forget to breathe? It is part of the movement. Especially with heavy weight. At least it was in the old days.

the videos are funny tho. so thank you to them for that. and the people holding the cameras

Do you lift? Holding a deep breath is great for keeping everything tight and stable. You're supposed to breathe out but I was too focused on the lift and faceplate right onto a bench. Only made that mistake once.

Has been a long time since I did any serious lifting. We were always taught to exhale on the power stroke.

for heavy reps it would generally be some serious breaths while getting grip and ready. Then inhale and hold while lowering weight on bench or squat ( or dropping hips on deadlift). Kind of like the calm before the storm.  Then breathe out as you push the weight.

Like I said tho, it has been over 10 years since I even lifted in my garage. I recently sold my weight set.  About time.

You're right. I just took the deep breath and forgot to exhale. Stupid mistake on my part. Lmao
