I think people are over reacting to the Dice/Hallia thing. Peace seems like how I normally see Peace. I'm not 100% certain who Andy is.

 

Mish is acting odd and her comments about the real doc counter claiming as normal play on DM is total bullshanks as has been pointed out.

What is "interesting" about the fact that I hadn't said anything, and why is it specifically interesting "given my claims"?

 

True, I didn't say anything yesterday except point out the obvious when Peace asked a question that the mod had already answered.  I was primarily interested to see if anyone would pick back up on voting me or go completely different directions.

 

And I just got home from work, with a stop at the grocery store.

Des, Hally was scummy as heck.  She basically had to claim as a last ditch effort to save herself. 

 

I think you're overselling how scummy she was. What all did she do that was that scummy? And this is coming from one of the people who initially voted her btw.

 

Also, she claimed somewhat early. It wasn't a last ditch attempt to save herself.

 

Des, I don't want the other x-night doctor to reveal at all. My point was: Either we have two x-night docs, or we have a full doc. If Hallia fakeclaimed an x-night doc, and we had a full time doc (because how would she know if we had two x-night docs? They're very rare; if there was x-night doctors here, and she's mafia, I can't see any way for her to know that) then yes, I would expect a CC to get rid of a lying mafia. But since we have no CC, I see no point in doubting the claim now; one of us is another x-night doc and knows that it's the truth, and that's enough for me right now. The other x-night Doc should NOT claim now. Clear enough? Only if we have a full Doc, should they CC, in my opinion. 

 

In conclusion: It was a very risky claim, and if it ends up a fake-claim, it is the most risky one I have seen. I don't think it's a fake.

 

 

And Peace, yes Hallia was scummy. But do you argue with my claims-logic above?

 

Even if we did have a full Doc I still wouldn't encourage them to CC. What if Hallia/Dice fake claimed but is still town? Then you would have an exposed Doc and a dead townie to show for it.

 

It's one thing to CC with other PR's. With a Doc role, CC's aren't that wise imo.

Anyone remember the last scum to quit a game to avoid pressure...hmm.  Kinda ironic Dice replaces Hally.

 

I'm voting the play.  Not the claim. 

 

How can you ignore the claim to only vote for the play?  The claim is part of the play.  

 

I didn't say "can't be bothered", I said "I don't feel like", and i explained the day after why I didn't feel like it. Of course, you can choose to not believe me on that (although I do dare you to find one single game where I've lied about RL stuff to get off the hook), that's your choice.

 

I know it's been pointed out before, but this doesn't sit right with me either.  'Can't be bothered' and 'I don't feel like' equate to the same thing.  Also, getting super defensive over possibly lying about RL stuff is weird.  That's the nature of playing on the internet.  We don't know if you are or not, so it seems pretty obvious that people would question it. 

 

actually i will take that back key   all i remembered at the time was your mod type points and all your playing around. Re looking you have mad some points.  my bad

As to the above, Mish.  No.  I still wouldn't full claim if I were full doc.  Why?  Yes it would get rid of one mafia, but it would leave you exposed to the rest of the team.  Better to try and get her lynched by pointing out other things in post that were scummy.

 

I also wouldn't assume there is another x-night doc just because.  I have played games where there has been only one.

Eh not too much to catch up on I see. Don't remember any kind of PR hints from Aemon so apparently mafia choosing to shoot lurkers to keep us from getting more info. And yet some people still think it's okay to lurk as town...

Some people aren't strong early game players.  I would rather see a weak early game townie lurk and get NKed than say/do something stupid that dooms the Town.  It's all a matter of perspective.

 

 

I've personally never seen a situation where one person says something dumb and it "dooms the town". I've seen townie players act sketchy and attract unnecessary attention, but never seen one statement or a group of statements hurt the town that bad, unless they're all early unwarranted claims I guess.

 

Let everyone notice ishy's lack or participation and his ATE on hallia behalf.

 

Interesting that everyone forgets the doc claims are the scum go to move in order to out a doc. Which is why I would never counter claim.

Very scummy.  Perhaps Lenlo's reads hit home.  Not sure why else Des would go out of his way to argue.  It was a fairly easy post to ignore.

 

I'll go out of my way for roughly any argument. I love arguing and debating things, even pointless things. If I can find someone to have a back and forth with during my 6th or 7th hour at work in the middle of the night, you better believe I'm going to pursue it.

 

Honestly tho, I don't think the "gameplay during twilight" thing is that significant at all, in any game. I think Yates is bringing that over from MS.

 

class load just picked up with Music Appreciation (last 9wk course), so my time and cases will not what most of you are used to.  call this Red light.   just got done with my trig test, so I figure i'd take a break before jumping into reading a rose for Emily, tell tale heart and the Lottery for comp 2.   gah I HATE the lottery *shudders*

Vote: Andy  for his play D1 on Dice/hallys claim. 

 

the NK on aemon is interesting.  might have been for meta/big game hunting, but so few have played with him I can see lurking being the reason.  which puts a mega FoS on Not Bob, Pral, Ishy and BG; who are also mega lurkers as of right now and posted less than Aemon. 

 

Pral is pinging hardcore.  my gut is going crazy on him.  mainly because if the scum is NKing lurkers, he's the #1 lurker in this game.  so why not hit him if their going for no info.  Aemon atleast posted thoughts on the game, which gives us some info, Pral OTOH had like 1 post.

 

 

the peacetrain stinks.  imo hes beating the grass right now, a-typical Mynd behavior as his reasoning is pure bullshanks.   and looky who latched on first, Mr scumster AJ.   a little eager there chap, aint ya?

 

 

Ishy's play is starting to ping btw.  a quiet ishy is like a quiet BG; I just don't like it.

 

the train on Mish is solid imo, he actions are scummy and deserve pressure because she needs to stop trying to lead the town like she is.  i'm still undecided if she's scum tho.  

 

 

RTE's vote is meh.  given that I think Andy is scum, and Ishy is pinging, well logically the scum wouldn't be stupid enough to place that many team mates on one train.  so by default, he gets the benefit of the doubt for now.

 

Don't like this post at all.

 

1. Voting a somewhat outdated read, and an outlier at that?

2. Don't think most current DM'ers think of Aemon as "big game". More importantly however, how in the world does one lurker being NK'ed make all other lurkers look worse? Explain your logic here please Red.

3. The "why didn't they go after this OTHER lurker instead?!" argument is weeeeaaaaak. They could have thought Aemon represented a slightly bigger threat than Pray because of his experience.

4. This stood out the most to me: You really think Peace is just trying to "beat the grass" right now? Not only is it pretty much PAST the grass-beating stage (something done to kickstart games at the beginning), but he also seems MORE than resolute about his vote. Hasn't waffled or quivered a bit, has even said a couple of times his stance hasn't changed on Hallia, and likely won't. That doesn't seem like "beating the grass" at ALL to me. Really weak defense of a teammate there, Red.

5. So Ishy's lurky play is starting to ping. Then you mention BG being quiet and lurky as well. Yet later you say you're not fos'ing BG after he asks you, just remarking on his quiet play. So when Ishy is lurky (he hasn't seemed that lurky to me btw), it pings, but when BG does, it's cool?

6. The train on Mish is solid, and she deserves more pressure... yet you're still undecided if she's scum. Wait, what?

7. Strange defense of RTE. So now you're sure that AJ and Ishy are both scum? Cause you're basing your read on RTE off of them being scum. Seems a little presumptuous, don't you think?

Des, your list of scum is extremely counter intuitive. Why would you put both Lenlo and Tress down on the same team when they are voting each other? And please, don't give me some long winded explanation about how they are trying to distance.

 

here is the classic "vote for majority, while distancing myself from the fact I know he'll flip town"  you see how he attacks the main caser on Lenlo, while doing the reluctant vote.   classic scum move; about as classic as his reaction to Hally's claim (which was to get 100% in her pocket and attack those attacking her (aka Mish))

 

 

Notbob, key, Hally  semi-pingy vote, no insight, just a "for the majority"  but given the time stamps and closeness to the lynch, they're less pingy than BG and Ishy's votes.

I dunno about that Dice. I see scum fake claim doc way more often than any other role (see Cloud, every game he's scum).

 

Fake claiming Cop means you have to fabricate investigation results, which isn't always that easy (although it does represent a great opportunity to inject some wifom)

Message to all games I'm in: Sorry about the timing for those two that I'm in that just started, but I'm about to head off and I will be off for the next 5 nights, meaning my activity will be a bit lower than normal. Additionally, me and the lovely wifey are going to Asheville to celebrate our anniversary, so Wed and Thursday I wouldn't expect much from me at all.  You still aren’t talking much and then when you do, you go out of your way to discuss how little you posted yesterday?  And you were “primarily interested” to see if anyone would pick back up on voting you?  After your AtE regarding your time limits, this post is weird.  So you would have been more active if someone had picked up and voted for you, but since they didn’t you were content to remain quiet?  Is a scummy move, imo.

On the fence about peace atm.  His play seems scummy, but almost too scummy as if to make people react to what he’s saying and pull the ‘crazy out of the woodwork’.  Keeping an eye on him for sure.

First. I'm in Disney world using my phone so no quotes desp. But you can was it'll go back and read my day 1 casing.

 

Next for red. I am not pulling a mynd. I'm not beating the grass on my dice/hally casing. I believe I have found scum. I did a bit on Darthe but not much.

 

I can vote tress or ishy. Neither is participating. Ishy is fake playing. Yates is doing absolutely nothing useful.

 

 

And desp, it worries me that you have such a horrible read on me this game. That is a rather simple minded reason you used to vote me.

I didn't quote Red's post that this is responding too because I didn't want to clutter too much.  But, I think the little arrow in the top right of the quote will take you to that quote (which is awesome!).

Regarding Number 1, I agree that Red’s vote for Andrej is weird, if only because I feel that we have more evidence on others. 

 

Rereading her post, I don’t agree with your number 2.  Red even says herself that she sees lurking as the reason, not “big game”.  Also, I can see her logic in why it makes the other lurkers look worse.  Because if they have a lower post count, but Aemon was chosen instead then that makes them look scummy.  As in, they had a lower post count so if it was lurkers scum was after, why were they skipped? 

 

I agree with you on no.5.  Why is lurky Ishy is pingy and not lurky BG.  But could have more posts imo.

 

I don’t see why you’re attacking with #6 either.  I get what she’s saying.

No.  The quote is from Andrej, not Aemon.  She referred to the post number and I went back to check because if she DID quote Aemon and FoS him it would be major FOS.  However, it is Andrej so major FoS to you for trying to say it was Aemon.
