The 3 people who claim that soft claims arnt scummy and completely trusted Hallia without anything to go on other than her soft claim, while scummy things she did just kept piling up. 1. I NEVER said her soft claim wasn't questionable, and NEVER said I completely trusted the claim either. And I don't remember BG or Ishy saying that either. So you're either pulling that out your heiney, or haven't really been paying attention this game.

 

2. I was one of those who voted for her initially, and while the softclaim that came a bit early would normally be a bit sketchy, for Hallia it wasn't really that remarkable. Pushing as hard as you did for more details about her role reeked to me.

I'd go back and find all the posts because I know they were there, btw just because it's someone's meta/usual behavior to soft claim like that don't make it not scummy, but I need to sleep. I have a tourney to wake up for in 5 hours

It was only the first day at sea and the missing weapons was really bothering Kaylee. She decided not to worry the passengers by informing them. Although by the end of the day it was obvious they had found out. She heard accusations being thrown out. "Lenlo is the guilty one," one of them said. "Just look at the way he moves about, as if he's trying to hide something." More began to join in.

"You're right! I can see something under his shirt!"

"We caught him red handed!"

"Get him!"

Kaylee ran to source of the shouting. What if they're wrong? It doesn't sound like they're giving him a chance! With that thought brought another chilling one. I better get security before we have a death on our hands! She was too late. By the time she reached the crown and pushed her way to the front she saw Lenlo laying there. He had been strangled. His cold lifeless eyes pleading for mercy. Kaylee turned to face the crowd. "What evidence do you have that you would kill?" she demanded. Nobody asnwered, they simply looked down at his body. "Well?" She asked again. "He had something under his shirt, I saw it!" The response was weak and Kaylee wasn't sure who had said it, but they all seemed to agree.

 

"Alright then, Security, check the body for the missing weapons." Kaylee waited for them to finish their search.

"Nothing but this hairbrush."

"Are you certain, check thoroughly now."

After a pause came the response...

"Yes Miss Kaylee, nothing on him but his wallet and this hairbrush."

"I see, thank you." Kaylee eyed each member of the crowd with a hard stare before continuing. "So, would any of you care to murder me for the wallet I have? Or how about the Captain for his comb? No? Then tell me why this poor man died? What would you have me tell his family? Anybody?" No one met her gaze. They all slowly walked away instead.

Still wish you'd done that last night, so that we didn't have to rush a lynch... I'm not convinced about Tress, I'll wait for a vote count and consolidate if needed.

 

 

it was night 0, I know I didn't get my role PM until Night 0 ended.  i'm assuming its the same with everyone else (and given the lack of a NK, I think i'm right on that btw).  so how exactly could she have revealed a role last night (night 0) if she didn't have a role yet? 

 

if I talk about a gamenight, I write Night. If I talk about last night/last evening, no capital letter. So I was talking about the time roughly 24 hours before I posted that, the weekday before when Hallia soft claimed in the first place. In other words, when we had more than 24 hours left until deadline, instead of barely 12.

 

 

Ok I'm heading to bed, I had no idea what the VC is, I really don't feel like digging through putting it together myself, so you guys will have to make do without my vote for this lynch.

This was the other stinker. So first of all, you don't have to have a vc sitting in front of you to have an idea for who others may have voted on. There were already several votes on Lenlo and Tress, that had been there for a bit. Why not comment on them.

 

Second, you give up on even trying to help secure a lynch, even tho if I'm not mistaken there was still like 12 hoursish before the deadline, so you could vote when you woke up.

 

Last and most importantly, since when is a VC necessary to place a vote? If you aren't sure who's close to deadline, why not at least vote for who you think is scummiest, to at least get your vote on record?

 

There is no excuse for this Mish.

 

 

I was tired, grumpy, I'd had a shitty day, I had a migraine, and I hadn't paid enough attention to either Tress or Len to choose wich one to place a vote on, and I certainly didn't have the energy to read back. And it was NOT 12 hours to deadline; are you skimming? I'd say way earlier in the day that we had 13 hurs left; that was about 4pm my time I said that I think, and I went to bed at 2am.

 

Also, no I couldn't have voted when I got up even if it was 12 hours left to deadline. When I go to bed at 2am, I rarely, if ever, fall asleep before 4am, and I sleep until closer to three in the afternoon. I've just gotten up now, and it's 3pm.

 

@Tress: Eh schmair eflough I guess (this way I don't have to pay royalties to BG!). There is something else I want to ask you, but I'm going to hold off on that for now.

 

@Mish: Turns out I was way wrong about that deadline, so my apologies on that. Still, you should have voted before leaving, even if you weren't sure about the VC or what the leading trains were

Des arguing about how scummy a dead Townie [Lenlo] who had already been lynched is has set of the scumdar levels to 11.

It had been a long night. Kaylee was still curious about the weapons, but Lenlo's death had her more concerned. How is it they had been so ready to kill? Especially since they didn't even know for sure? What kind of passengers are these? She decided the only ones she could trust was herself and the captain. She had known him for years after all. She was going to have to talk with him later about what to do about the missing weapons. They were able to get the dead body off board and satisfy the coast guard by convincing them it was an accident. Strangely enough they allowed the cruise to continue. She went out to the morning buffet to greet the passengers. Something caught her eye on the way. Is that a bed sheet hanging on the railing? She moved over to investigate. Sure enough there was a bed sheet hanging on the railing. That's odd, she thought. Kaylee followed the sheet down with her eyes to see what was going on. To her horror a body lay floating in the ocean beside the ship.

so  I think town got royally screwed D1. A vanilla got lynched a role got claimed cause it was gonna get lynched. and the reasoning?  because of how the person ALWAYS plays. ridiculous. Its funny I dont see anyone form a policy about pressuring say Wombat for his 2 word no explanation votes. And yet the belief that hallia should play in a way that others believe is right got her votes which i think then gave the mafia an opportunity  and look what they got.

 

I kinda get why hallia soft claimed     not happy about it but kinda get it. She'd have wanted to get pressure off her without full claiming. Now considering its D1 you'd think there would be a back off after the soft claim. But there wasn't. It seemed she was gonna get lynched anyways. So she claimed. awesome /sarcasm   

 

So my list of potential mafia are Mish Key Tress and possibly Des  him im not sure on but he has me wary.

 

Mishs pressuring for a full claim raised my hackles and her refusal to vote when she knew she wouldn't be back for DL raised them more.

 

Keys posts just seem weird with all the mod type stuff but nothing else. She has me thinking symp.

 

Tress  I see what other saw in that post i think. But i am not TOTALLY sold yet
