Verb; I understand where you're coming from, and had I used it to place a vote on someone, I would have agreed. I just commented on the people I'd seen be active and what impressions I had so far. I didn't need to pretend to contribute; I've stated several places that I would probably not be active today at all due to it being my country's national day. So I didn't have need to make a filler post; I could simply not post at all and have a reason. If I try to use meta as the sole reason to vote someone later in the game though, feel free to chastise me all you want ;) I never do though; cause I agree it's weak and each game is different.

I'm fairly social.

What types of social groups are there and where would I fit in?

Turin, I could agree, it feels like he forgot not everyone has role PMs (because he has one) and made a mistake there. EP and Ithi I feel like are jus doing their regular thing so far.

so you have a migraine and drunk and not going to think about voting and making Apple pie...I had someone mention to me about having a migraine in another game, because I couldn't do anything, and they complained about people always saying they have a headache, for someone with a migraine you are doing a pretty good job of posting a lot and defending yourself. Most people wouldn't be able to do much on here if they had a migraine. I hope you aren't going to use this as an excuse for something you have said, later on!

Hally, seems to have been new in quite a lot of games, I think the newbie stance is long past. This seems a nothing vote on something which we don't know about, unless you are defending Hally or know she is town and making yourself look town.

How about a fungamefact? Verbal or notbob? both are tempting starting trains. I was thinking, we're going to need some high detective skills for this since anyone can easily claim they did not recieve a role PM and there would be no way to cross check that. Keep a look out on those who slip through the cracks in early game and watch them closely.

That's the problem with scumhunting (or lack thereof) based on meta - you miss the people that are playing you as a result. Hunt based on posts/reactions/evidence in this game - forget the rest, for the most part.

I know, and for my part it's only an observation; I haven't placed them on either end of the scale yet. Just means they're not doing any atypical stuff so far.

That's pretty good advice. There's many people in this game I've never played with, or very much if I have before, so I don't know their metas.

who and what are you agreeing with? As you are the only one voting Verbal currently don't you think you should possibly state why that is the case? whether Verbal flips mafia or town you look bad the way this sits, if he flips mafia you burried you vote early so you get the "I can't be scum" defense, however if he flips town you look really bad due to having no reasoning for your vote.

Mod question; what timezone are you in?

Talya; I really don't appreciate your comments doubting my health and the truthfulness. My migraine isn't the same as your migraine. I don't have to lie down in a dark room or whatever ever time I get one; I just get a splitting headache that doesn't go away, I've had it every single day for three weeks, that makes it hard to think properly, sometimes I'm light sensitive, sometimes sound sensitive and makes it me unable to sit on the Mac for long periods of time, or do physical things. Some days are worse than others. My husband made the pie; I helped. I've stopped by here earlier, thought it would work, it didn't, so I've been away from the computer for hours now. I was even half an hour late in the scene for my own game because I couldn't face the light of the screen yet. Right now I have the light on my monitor turned as far as down as possible, I shouldn't be here, but I got pissed by that post. I think it's really low of you, and outside the spirit of the game, to insinuate that I'm lying about my health to get a cop-out, or would ever do it.

As dusk fades, the last touches are put on what has to be one of the most elaborate ghost-catching setups ever imagined.

“I can’t believe there’s this much stuff! It’s like every hunter within 500 miles showed up…”

“Dude, this is awesome. I can’t wait to see what we get…”

With that, a screen lights up and eight FLIR cameras are brought into play.

“There you are my lovelies… nothing gets past you without us knowing about it!”

Other investigators check thermal detection devices and EVP recorders. Then, a call is echoed to join everyone downstairs.

You find the entire group gathered in the driveway.

“Welcome to The Tencer House!”

A cheer goes up form the crowd, enthusiastic, though a few snarky mumbles worm their way through the crowd.

“First of all, a big thank-you goes out to all of you for coming…this is awesome! Because of you, we have more equipment than any ghost investigation I think any of us has ever been on! Believe me, If the ghosts are here, we’re gonna find them!”

There’s a jovial mood among you, but an undercurrent is still there…

“And listen, whatever we find gets credited to everyone here, so please don’t carry old grudges and competitions. We’re all just here for the ghosts!”

A cheer goes up, and the positive mood is sweeping.

“Okay, we’ve divided up the house into zones and everyone knows where they’re supposed to be. It’s almost dark now, and we’ll split into groups in just a minute, but first, I really think want to mark this historic moment with a group picture!”

Everyone nods in approval. The crowd jostles together to fit in all 33 investigators and everyone is just set when the flash goes off.

“Excellent! Let’s see what we’ve got!”

A laptop is produced and an image of the 33 of you appears, everyone smiling. It looks great…

A second laptop is produced.

“Let’s see if anyone is possessed by an evil spirit!”

Laughter ripples through the crowd just as the FLIR image winks onto the screen.

“There we are! How fitting!”

And there you are, 33 of you outlined in the subdued reds, yellows and whites of a normal human being’s signature.

“Believe me, if anyone was possessed by a spirit, it would show. I’ll make sure everyone gets a copy!”

Everybody seems happy as they split up and head into the house to begin the investigation.

But a slight sense of warning tingles through your fingers and toes. You voice your concern.

“Dude, I don’t mind investigating, but they ought to have a little more respect for what happened here, and for possession in general. It’s not a joke…”

Your friend smirks.

“Relax. There are so many people here I doubt any spirit activity will even be captured. Let’s just hope we even get a little something…

You nod and go along. But it still doesn’t feel right.
