[Big Game - Sign Ups] Scrabble at the BT - a Game for everyone to play

It's been a long time coming, but I've finally figured out a way for us all to have a game of scrabble.

 

 

Here is the blank board, and the scores for individual letters. You can also see that various spaces on the board can double or triple your letter or word scores. We will have the Green Team vs the Blue Team, but you won't get your own team letters to use.

 

When we have enough players to begin I will post 7 letters and which team can go first. The members of that team will then suggest a word from the available letters and post what word it is, its location and the total score of that word. You can just post your word and location and ask your team members to help calculate the score if you want and can post as many suggestions as you like. If you want your word to be used as your Final Answer, you must post it in bold and in your team colour - and don't forget to include its location and score. You might want to check with your Team before you do that :)

 

I will then update the word onto the board and replace the letters that have been used, and it will be the other teams turn to build a word. All words used must be either real words from the English Language or words from WoT. I will also begrudgingly allow American spellings of words as well as the proper English spellings

 

There will be a maximum of 24 Hours between Mod Updates of Words. I will do it more quickly if I have the time and resources available :)

Your Final Answer could be

 

SHINE G8-G12 total score = 18

 

Score is calulated as 2x(1+4+1+1+(1x2)) = 18 because of the double letter score on the E and a double word score also. I would then replace those 5 letters with new ones and it would be the next Team's turn. Make sense?

Runners = 10 Points

 

Bonus 5 points for the Top 3 individual scorers

Bonus 5 points for the Highest Scoring Word of the game.
