In my haste to get a scene, I stated that seven were required to lynch instead of the correct number of six.  Unfortunately, the game cannot be penalized due to the mistakes of a mod and the mafia team does not deserve to be undermined by moderator errors such as the recent one of me not mentioning that my variation of vigilantes always have the ability to shoot during the day.  Thus, RTE has been lynched and a scene is incoming.  Also, I apologize to all if I was hasty in these actions and have offended anyone.

Even with one of the crooked explorers gone death came on swift wings that day.  They did not trust one another, it was clear that it had been the work of several to drive so elaborate a plot.  Thus with the setting sun a member of the group was chosen.  Chosen by many of you to be banished into the jungle and make his own way.  He was given rations and a machete, tools necessary for survival as he made his own way back.  However fate willed it not be so.  As you all carried on in vain efforts to find a decent place to shelter before night you found him, face down in the dirt, machete buried in his back.  The poor soul.

Ok I'm not going to lie. I thought the lynch hadn't happened yet so I've skimmed the thread up to here. Ill go back and read it properly now.

Reading through though I wanted to punch RTE, the rest of you don't seem to think clearly. Turin says he shot Peace, the deadline was minutes away and instead of finishing the train on Peace you all just stood there staring at peace to see if he died. I think someone even suggested Turin was trying to make it go to Random. why for the love of all that is holy didnt you people just put enough votes in him to have him lynched if he was lynch. He would of been dead either way

I might still be waking up so this might be a bit strong but I was so mad at this thread

I disagree Dap, the whole issue was which of them was lying and which was the real Vig. The only way to remove the WIFOM was to allow the shot to go through and have it vet Turin. And luckily, it turned out well. Had the shot not gone through, then Turin would have been outted as the scum. It really couldn't have gone down any other way.

Dap, due to timestamps and the fact that as soon as I shot him peace was dead it would have made no difference if everyone voted him then. He was already dead so the votes would not have counted.

 

I am still angry at RTE for his play.. I was positive he was mafia with his peace defense. Oh well at least I got peace.

 

I am still suspicious of Ishy, snow and TG. They all showed up either right at deadline or missed it so we don't have their votes in regard to RTE or as much of an opinion on peace.

 

I will think about taking another look at things but really expect to be dead very soon.

'Welcome to the game'? Great snarky comment meant to discredit my entire post. And then you have Peace and Rand/Ishy as the mafia team? Peace and Ishy? Peace who has been going after Rand all game, and Ishy who calls Peace the scumminest player in the game? That is your mafia team? Either you have never played mafia before and think that in small, basic games mafia try to get their teammates lynched, or you just slipped up and outed yourself. I'm now completely convinced you are mafia.

I wasn't voting Turin cos I had a town read on him, also i dont think his "mistake" was that bad. Turns out I was right (well as sure as I can be at this point). I also had the right idea voting Peace, that was partly Turins doing but still.

You're coming off pretty strong right now man, even in the face of the DL. Turin has been playing town for most of this game, but I agree that is an odd slip up. My vote won't sway much anyway, we've got several active trains and little time before the deadline drops. We need others to come in.

We didn't have active trains at that point. The highest was at 3(Peace) and the next best two had 2 votes each. Out of seven. That pathetic, not an active train. I really don't like how you left your vote off, you say it won't sway much but your vote on Peace would of made it more than half and all those annoying inactives would of voted "to avoid a random"

This to me looks like you are trying to prevent that while trying to remain distant

With almost no time to the deadline you post this, not bothering to comment on any of the other trains

 

I'm coming in strong for a couple reasons A) it is close to DL, B) one or two votes will swing Turins train to be the dominant one and C) I have to leave in a few and won't be able to be here at DL so I'd like to see the person with the obvious scum slip be well on their way to getting lynched before I head out.

C) you refuse to even consider Peace as scummy, surely if you were leaving soon you would just vote him to and Random

 

On another note, great town play from TG. This is what I was waiting to see. Off my radar for the time being.

RTE decides to vote Turin when they have minutes left and Peace is L-1. I don't hold your lynch against anyone, it was bound to happen

Turin my point was if you were lying then it would of gone to random. Even though I believed you I would of still voted just in case, I know they don't count but if that's the case what's the worst that can happen voting

I see what you are gettin at here. It would have been good to have votes on peace with everyone eles's pov. I knew my shot was good as soon as peace claimed vig. He must have been betting on the vig being night only. In everygame I haveplayed with a vig shot that darthe was mod it was good day or night. I knew I would be claiming and to be honest the hint was pretty blatant. I was looking for immediate reactions. I was surprised to get a cc. But it made things easier for me.
