^nice!

Elayne & Nyn will spend half the book on a quest to find something vitally important (maybe a dressmaker) at the end of which the Seanchan will turn up and attack.

It will be revealed that Graendal has had weaves of compulsion around Nyn, Elayne, and Eggy since the beginning of tEotW. Finally we will have an explanation for the self-diluted, snooty, and totally unjustified arrogance that they display in the entire series.

(Sorry, but every re-read those 3 irritate me more and more)

Avi is the one to kill Rand, with Ali being the one to help Avi kill herself thus fulfilling Mins viewing and so Avi can fulfill her toh. LoC end of Chapter 19...

"Killing Rand Al'Thor would meet one toh, killing herself the second, but each toh blocked the solution to the other."

Crazy theory?

Nakomi is Bair.

this was not at all a crazy theory before AMOL. post AMOL prologue though this can be discounted. Bair had no good reason to lie to Avi about it that I can think of.

Sweet. Thought I was as crazy as Rand thought he once was.

Second crazy theory... Mat is the one to somehow defeat the DO/seal him away. He is now the 'center of it all' according to the Finn. It might just be the hat he got from Lanfear too as others have posited.

The darkone breaks free and the pattern begins to unravel with this world of existance going first.

Rand, Perrin and Mat escape to the world of dreams which is the third constant.

Perrin holds the world of dreams together with his hammer and mind long enough for Mat to use the key of his spear to travel to a parallel world which hasn't unravelled yet as it exists back in time.

Rand's entrance to the world (thanks to Mat's best future thread finding luck) with his one with the land strength make that world the viable one.

The Rand of that new world dies to stop the darkone breaking free (which didn't happen in our current world) fullfilling the dying/ living prophesybecause...

Our Rand survives and remains the only one with the memory of the old destroyed existance, which he reflects on in the end -a memory of a light the darkone did extinguish.

Maybe I should put this on another thread 'cause it's just making too much sense.

I like the idea of this thread! Love the Kindle theory.

I've actually been collecting a few crazy theories I've seen on the forums. Here is one I kind of like

Taim is Moridin's son.

Who's the mother?

Bela.

The Dark One is the Creator.

There are actually serious theories about this on Theoryland...

My crazy theory is that Cyndane and Moridin fall in love with each other, return to the light, kill the other Forsaken that are still alive, and then tell Rand how to seal away the Dark One.

I'm an experimentalist, so I love crazy theories that can be waylaid within a few more weeks of waiting:

Shaidar Haran is created from the ogier, the way the average wannabe lurk is created from men. He has The Longing for stones from Shayol Gul. As soon as he find the way to cut this link (and apparently he's trying hard), the ogier will also no longer have their link with the stedding. They will spontaneously start singing and dancing, which will accidentally seal the bore. So, it turns out that Loial is the true Dragon reborn, and used Rand as a proxy to fulfill the various profecies (@Mazrim182: he was around Rand much more than Logain, so it would make sense, right).
