There would be only reason why I wouldn't get Killed, considering all the trouble I was causing, and that would be because someone preferred to keep me alive - probably to buddy up to and be a sneaky so and so to and then try and use that kind of line to save himself with at the end of the game.

There would be another reason, Ithi. That you were the one doing the killing. You wouldn't kill yourself. Your agression in response to my suspicion is leading me to think that I was right. I hate it when I fail to listen to my little voice. it has tried to warn me of mistakes in the past.

Day 1: you pushed Lily into making her mistake and then led the charge to get her lynched. Who would ever bus their GF day 1? A mafia going in under deep cover. Lily did kind of wilt under pressure too. She is an experienced player and could have stood up to that more effectively. Then even once a Lily lynch is a foregone conclusion, EP steps in and defends her outing himself with that emo flounce.

 

Day 2: JLM replaces EP and naturally gets lynched. Rand defends JLM enough to draw a viewing.

 

Day 3: Rand viewed and lynched. easy peasy. Darthe comes out as the cop and Ithi even seems to hint doc saying he would be safe.

 

Day 4: This is where it gets interesting. The choice was boiling down to Kae and Nol. I thought that it was going to be Kae but had my vote on Nolder. Ithi switched and the Nolder train took off. 4 mafia in 4 days. Ithi is really good at finding mafia but to go 4 for 4 without any knowledge seems a bit much.

 

Night 4: the doc gets killed. So this is the last viewing we get.

 

Day 5: Grendal gets lynched. Was a claimed 3rd party so is a reasonable choice. We all follow along.

 

Night 5: the cop is killed. safe from viewing

 

Day 6: Kae has been a possible lynch several times so this is just cleaning house as it were. Tiink is pretty much the only one that is not agreeing with Ithi on this one. Don't want the sheep thinking for themselves so...

 

Night 6: she kills Misheru who was advocating a Tiink lynch. Framing Tiink in the process. This is the place that I would have made sure a town Ithi would have died if I were mafia. With the cop dead she was the most dangerous townie.

 

Day 7: Tiink comes back with a "nice frame job" post and Ithi cuts him off. Putting him on the defensive. I missed this lynch but probably would have voted Tiink also.My little voice was just starting to get suspicious..

 

Night 7: Nightstrike, the last cop confirmed townie is killed.

 

Day 8: here we are... Ithi the super secret agent mafia has led us all around killing her teammates first and then all the townies that stood in her way to victory.

That is the funniest thing I've heard in ages. And the way you have it all so neatly explained makes me think you have been planning this for a while.

Turin has followed almost every time, right behind me. He knows I can't read him and has used that to benefit the Mafia. I even suggested that the Cop view him because he is my weak spot.

 

I knew I would have to put a vote there just to see what he would do, and there you have it. A full on mafia assassination attempt that he has probably had planned since he was first brought into the game.

Ive seen ithi do this before. so i dont think its a bit much.

 

Also i dont think any mafia would go THAT deep undercover especially killing the GF who would show up as town never mind doing that FIRST.

 

Your amount of arguments and how well thought out they are ping to me. You have barely been around all game and so that DOES come off as very planned. It is also true that you would be ithi's blind spot but the reverse is not true.

Dice. I would say that if the motive was to have a super townie that could cruise thru the game without EVER being doubted how do you do it? You have to establish that person ASAP as the most town person in the game. How better to do that in a BASIC game than to buss the GF right away? It is a go big or go home play but who were the original mafia? Lily who has been in a few gambits, EP who never met a crazy idea he didn't like, Nolder who is as sneaky as they come, Rand replaced in so the plan would have been made already. And Ithi who has been killing mafia in her last few games. Who better to be the super townie? She definitely has the skills to get people lynched even without info. Tell her who the mafia are and you saw the results. If you closely at the D1 stuff I believe she even called Lily as the GF. that was pretty bold unless she actually knew it to be true.

 

Most people that are town realise when they step out to the forefront they will get killed sooner rather than later. That is why most players that want to live as town, especially power roles in advanced games, try to act at least a little scummy.( I actually disagree with this approach as hinting really is more likely to help the mafia. They know you aren't on their team and too frequently it results in power roles having to claim too early) Only the brave play as pure town. Or those that KNOW they are not going to be a target for the NK. They can play as town as they like cause their team is not going to kill them. This sceme can only work in a basic game cause there are too many ways to get outed in an advanced game. Ithi knows this. She has been Modding and Co-Modding a few games and has gained much in that process.

 

As for my argument being too well thought out. I don't know what I can say about that. I have had a wicked week of work up until yesterday so it really was the first chance I had to go back and look seriously at the game for a while. Just as I can confirm she is not feeling well she can confirm my crazy work schedule. I did follow along with Ithi quite a bit cause I do generally see her as town due to her play style and I had time issues. But as the number of town lynches went up I finally started wondering if I was getting played in this game. There was a critical time in each of them and Ithi made a statement that tipped the scales on most of them.

 

Your niggling doubt is the same as my little voice. It is trying to keep you from making a mistake.

 

 

Ithi, shush you mafiosa. you have defended WoT enough already. Talk about buddying. Let her decide for herself who she thinks is the mafia here.

... it was the year 2000 and BG was eagerly awaiting the next Wheel of Time book, Winter's Heart. As mentioned before, this was the first book he had to wait for. He would have done anything for new material. E-books were becoming a thing that existed and all the world was talking about it. So Simon and Schuster decided to publish an e-book 2 months before the book came out... this e-book would be the prologue to Winter's Heart. Wheel of Time already had pretty lengthy prologues, so this was pretty exciting. Plus, it was going to have an exclusive message only for purchasers of the e-book! But the message was like half a page of RJ telling the story of how he got suckered into selling the e-book rights like it was a deal with the devil (Seriously... read it here http://books.google....epage&q&f=false) That wouldn't have been so bad, but then the prologue was more than 10% of the finished book... as a Prologue! When BG got the final book, he found himself skipping ahead of the part he had already read instead of re-reading it because it was so long.... Not only that, but they charged BG $5.00 for it. $5.00! AND HE BOUGHT IT!

 

BG was a sucker but he needed his WoT fix. This lead to a few books that released prologues early, but finally Tor seemed to have gotten smarter and started releasing chapters for free. This way they brought in more readers rather than just sucking the super-fans dry.

 

Shame on you Snow: Prologue to Winter's Heart. Shame on you.

 

Once he got the real Winter's Heart, he deleted his e-book and never looked back.
