The possibility has already been accepted: However, YOU argue that he isn't what he says he is. Therefore by your own estimation I should NOT accept that YOU are town based on his word. So why when I follow through with YOUR belief do you suddenly flop about? Furthermore, if I'm playing mafia properly I do NOT merely accept the possibility I like, or want, or believe. I accept the other possibility as well. If Darthe is scum, then you are juast as likely to be scum trying to appear vetted as you are to be town.

For the record, I think it's more likely that A) The mafia targetted the healer twice, or B) they are buying up territories instead of killing them. It'd be interesting to have a set amount of money and have to pay for your recruits, all with a distinct value based on ther role/powers.

So he wasn't a symp. I highly disagree with the idea of completely disregarding the list. I am okay with being who we lynch off of it first since I realize that I am pushing the idea but I feel that if we lynch the scummiest players from it there is probably at least a scum on the list he made. Otherwise it would help the town in the long run.

 

 

I didn't volunteer ).). I think the dying list can be valuable and once I said so people fell all to pieces over it. If I had changed my mind instantly that would have truly contributed to WIFOM and gotten me speed lynched so I stayed the course which I still feel is not a bad idea. Can you honestly think of anything I have done in this game other than that that did not directly help the town? Arguing that we should lynch the list but not me would get me either killed during day or stand out so badly that I was NK'd for sure if I didn't protect myself. I am not up for losing our cop etc on a risk like that, but I suppose you all sheeping has put that notion to rest anyhow. Face it, this is a Lazy train and it is going to provide a ton of info at this point even if I do die.

I really hate that you posted this literally AS I WAS READING, now it looks like I'm coming out after my name was called. Shame on you.

 

If you've noticed, I've been quiet in both my games-- I've had a rough few days that have made me want to bang my head against the wall until it bleeds. Just so you know.

 

As for the others on the list, Peace announced that he'd be away until the end of the week-- stop skimming. And Rand's silence is suspicious because he's normally vying for the top-posts for the thread. As for Hoof, I dunno.

 

On to this doc business-- I really don't want to believe Darthe. There's no real easy cc for that and the rule is not to lynch the doc, but Darthe has been acting like a scummy mcscumster since that damned list. And then he comes out and claims a weak doc, clearing BG by saying he protected him? And yet Lanth protects Darthe while voting BG? This just doesn't make sense.

 

I don't know about us being able to start another train, but I have to work tonight and will not be awake for the deadline...

 

For now, Vote Tress. I'm still not liking that situation, myself. And I'm just too confused about Darthe, though I'm willing to switch before deadline if necessary. (I'm working 6pm-4am CST tonight, so don't expect me to post)

Because barons = rich railroad owners, and Mr. Monopoly, richest man in the world, that would mean loads of cash to spend.

I agree with Razen's point that BG is not vetted until Darthe flips as weak doc. And the other point, that Darthe appears to have brought it up specifically to try to vet BG.

 

The question here is if he is telling the truth, why would Darthe protect BG N3? Until a power role has revealed itself, the doc is always better off protecting himself than a random person they have no way of knowing is town and no reason to suspect that the mafia would target.

 

Of the list in David's dying WIFOM, the two that I would most have picked to be David's teammates are Darthe and BG, to be honest, and I sincerely doubt Darthe is telling the truth at this point.

If he is a symp, why would he pick those names? I am pretty certain he would pick at least one mafia to be on his list. I say kill them all in order of scumminess and go with it? I mean, these people will never make it to end game now anyhow.

 

Sounds mainly like he missed his name. Maybe he wasn't surprised because he already discussed it on a quicktopic? In that case, Darthe could be well be the one mafia (or one of the "at least one") on the list.

A confirmed innocent seems more important than a weak doctor. And I don't see anyone else gaining a majority anytime soon.
