Heya, I won't be online much today, just wanted to let you all know!

Many slept restlessly that night. An eerie darkness hung over the Shifter world. They had done nothing that day but killed one of their own; they were no closer to finding the Hunters hidden among them.

 

Extra guards were posted everywhere that night, around every dorm and every part of the fortress. The bears protected the perimeter, the rats kept watch in the hidden corners of the fortress, and the hawks circled the black skies, keeping watch from above.

 

One hawk flew along the eastern border, keeping watch over the dead woods. Sometime past midnight, a shadow caught her eye, darting between the trees, heading southwest, towards the wolves' den in the caves. Suspicious, the hawk circled lower, keeping the shadow in sight. Shifters in residence were forbidden from wandering around at night, so there was no reason for anyone to be lurking this far out from the fortress.

 

The hawk circled lower, zeroing in on her target. But what she didn't know was that she herself was a target. The shadow darted behind a large boulder, disappearing for the moment. When it appeared again, its gaze locked on the hawk above - and so did the arrow it loosed from its bow.

 

The hawk fell without a sound. Its body, pierced with an arrow, lay undiscovered at the edge of the dead woods. It wasn't until the wolves filed out from their den the next morning, heading to the mess for breakfast, that the dead hawk was found.

 

Kaylee, Hawk Shifter, Vanilla Townie, has been nightkilled.

It's something that makes me suspicious, especially coupled with his surviving to Day 2. I would have thought that someone would have tried to kill him considering that he practically admitted that he might have had a power role. The fact that he didn't get killed makes me think that either the WIFOM scared the mafia off enough to not kill him or he is mafia, and hence the reason he's still alive. Vote: Blackhoof.

I'm not sure about Hoof. His lurking looks scummy, but he could also have been trying to avoid his typical "say stupid stuff and get lynched day 1" thing. We'll see.

He pulled suspicion away from BH earlier (who nobody sane would make mafia in an advanced game because he is always gone day 1) and has been leading the board ever since. Minus a post or 2 BH has been gone and this flare-up between EP and Ishy has carried us. With a bit of luck I think we could peg BH, Ishy, and EP as better potentials so far because of how they are leading this game. BH because nobody would suspect, but the other two because of their behaviors. Lets watch and see who pulls votes at the last second.

That is why BH being mafia would work. In advanced he is expected to be gone. Here he has a chance.

 

FoS for again assuming the mod chooses what roles are assigned to people. Hoofie might actually be scum, but it seems like you’re trying really hard to make us think so regardless. Which is hilarious considering Hoof is usually lynched for appearing scummy anyway. Without anyone’s help.

 

I have the feeling he probably is vanilla town, but the way he's reacted to the votes he's gathered isn't very town-ish...so I'm unsure as to what I'm doing with my vote.

I don't think that EP is lying when he says that he is vanilla town - however, the way he has made his case makes everyone and their grandmother look like scum for their actions up to this point.

 

 

As Sakaea has pointed out, EP has reacted in a very anti-town way with the case upon him by making this into a kind of WIFOM situation. Are the people on his train mafia that thought they could get an easy lynch but have had their plan foiled by the way he reacted, or are they townies that thought he was scum for the way he reacted to the votes against him? That doesn't matter now. Now, regardless of their position on the EP train, they look scummy. And everyone not on the EP train looks scummy. No matter what, it looks to me that this situation benefits the mafia more than it does the town.

 

I think that the best way to go would be to see how EP flips and then look back at people's reasoning to determine whether they were mindlessly bandwagoning, or whether they voted for a pro-town or pro-scum reason. The confusion factor will not go away by keeping him around, as we don't even know if he's town or not. He could be mafia trying to make everyone look scummy to help his team out while he's going down. So, in the interest of trying to get to the bottom of this mystery, I am going to unvote, vote: EP.

Please, I die on Day 1 becasue of the scummy things i say, not because everyone has a vendetta against me. the mafia also do not have some dark conspiracy brewing to make sure i die early... why would they?
