Let me rephrase this, based on my role PM and the coroner reports of our deceased players, I strongly doubt that there are permanent roled players. Plus, the VIG kill is dangerous in the wrong hands.

There is a finder power floating out there, so his death will not be a waste. I don't buy his claim as being a permanent finder and I think whoever has the Finder ability could view either Wwwomby or Maw tonight based on Razen's coroner report.

 

So you'd lynch the Finder? Smart. Especially because as I said before, my power wasn't going anywhere last night. I still have it. And, tell me, if my spike on Wombat failed, how is that I can have the vig kill? I have no idea who has that ability. For all I know, you could have spiked the kill from Wombat and be setting me up to die, either through a lynch or an NK. It would certainly explain how you had "two actions" to use. You would have used your track on me and spiked Wombat, thereby giving you the ability to kill me tonight.

 

Plus another thing. How exactly is my death not a waste? I'm a confirmed Finder. Lose me, you lose one of the investigative roles in this game. And the only players I can see that benefitting are scum.

Ill Vote Maw as everything since the first vote on him that he has said sound like excuses or quick "Dont lynch me for this reason". If Maw flips town, which I dont think he will at this point, then that should be interesting for Razen.

I believe Razen and I think Maw's as good a way to go as any. Third-party doesn't have to be anything terribly bad, but his reaction to Razen's accusation makes me think there's a reason he wants to keep it hidden.

 

Since coroner reports only tell us alignment, apparently, we may not be able to find out what Maw's actual role is, but if he's not willing to work with us, he's likely a threat.

Ok, let me think about this....

Forrest tracked Wombat and Razen.

He saw Wombat target Marsh. Wombat admitted to this, and said that Marsh didn’t have a voting record and would give us a read on Forrest and Piano.

He saw Razen target Mawth and Wombat. Razen admits to both, says he only used his finder ability on Mawth. He also claims that his Finder ability can’t be stolen.

A few people don’t like me at this point, might I ask why?

If I’m following all of the spikes correctly, it seems that Razen also has the kill power right now. For now I say leave him alive and see how he acts tonight. I’m still not sure whether to believe him: he could just be mafia trying to seem too important to lynch or he could be an innocent townie that is trying to scare the mafia off. I believe him for now.

I find it interesting that Mynd would like to lynch him if the finder ability and the Vig power would die with him at this point.... Even if he thought he was lying about the finder thing at the time, that is still interesting.

Something that caught my attention: Kae says that she got nothing because she was spiked last night, yet both Mynd and Wombat say that they lost their abilities last night but their actions went through anyway. Should we assume that Kae was roleblocked? Otherwise it might be possible that we have some elaborate plot going on right now...

Mawth hasn’t really said much this game. This post buy him was interesting... At this point it looks like he’s either a 3rd party whom is a threat to everyone, Razen is lying, or something else screwy is going on around here... Right now since, based on that reaction, it looks like he is a 3rd party threat to everyone, I will put him at L1 and Vote Mawth

I cannot say i object to a Maw lynch, in fact if he was not already hammered i would switch my vote over to him. it will serve to confirm or conemn Razen, and a solo-win is hardly useful to keep around.

Is there a jester type character in Mistborn? I've never read the books so the whole storage mechanic is Greek to me.

I would not think so- there are no metals that induce suicidal tendencies or benefit from their user's death, but as for characters this is not based in the original series so there could be a suicidal or insane person in this game.

Just putting this out there, Kelsier would actually be a surprisingly good Jester candidate if this game did use any of the characters from the series. The whole lynchpin to his plan of overthrowing the Lord Ruler from the start is to get himself killed so he can be a martyr and inspire the masses to revolt.

 

 

You def can't say that town is being indecisive in this game at least. Maybe peeps are just more liberal with their "hammering" in this game because it's a deadline game instead of a hammer game. I don't really think anyone would really be able to be convinced to take their vote off of Maw at this point tho, even if he did come defend himself. I still think Wombat was our better chance at catching actual scum, I know vetting the finder can be important but I'm not really sure there would be a permanent finder in this game. That quote from the mod discussing roles and allomantic abilities and whatnot really could be interpreted in different ways.

Ishy is not the only one who objected when I first questioned this. Its still very dangerous for a Vig power to be floating around like it is, but I am going to have to believe that there are permanently roled individuals in this game. EIther way, Maw's lynch will tell us one thing or another.
