Welcome to the Big Hat of Mynd.

I have been quiet Razen. I am not purposely lying low. I have a new job that is taking up a great amount of time. I was supposed to be off today and hoped to catch up but got called in to work and thus another day is gone. I may have to get replaced butam going to give it another day or two to decide. I try to follow through on my commitments.

Game wise. I think it is too far a step to say EP would not hammer a teammate. If he is mafia then there would be someone to tell him that it would get him town points for doing it. That could go a long way for a new player to get clear of his D1 question marks. In the whole Smiley/Hoof/Songstress defending thing I do agree that Hoof is the more legitimate lynch option based on Smiley flipping mafia. Hoof did defend a now known mafioso. My take on Songstress has been that she is fairly new to the game but is quite skilled. Like a prodigy. I could be wrong. I am way behind on sleep.

I will try to read up tomorrow. If I can.

Noooooo! Meeeeeesh! I think it was a conspiracy for his blue posting. >.>

And I have never played with Mynd. Cant wait to see how they make it interesting.

Mynd is replacing MCS.

Good morning campers, welcome to Uncle Myndrunner's Mafia Camp! Tea anyone?

I shall keep my text in black so that my scum casings are clearly understood. All this rainbow chasing reeks of scum to me, trying to hide their scumminess behind a crayola box of some kind.

Already, after a light skimming, Aiel Heart leaps to the top of my scum list. Sticking up for Ironeyes in such a way, one would have to wonder what she has to gain doing so. And mourning comrades? SCUM comrades?!

Aiel Heart

I may change this after my full read, but if you are pinging me after just a brief skim.....

What do you mean? At night, anyone who has a kill can select someone to kill. One kill is usually the mafia and any others could be anything. Right now I am thinking Meesh was the mafia kill and Keyholder was done in by a vigilante.

Ok, a good read....and a couple mafia have already given themselves away....and I think one of them just joined the game.

More on that later, let's recap the game so far...lotta fluffy spam but then, the Smiley bandwagon  begins. Since he flipped Scum, let's look at those who tried to distract off his lynch and those who didn't bother voting at all. Too busy to vote is not an excuse.

(THOSE OF YOU WHO JUST WANT THE DRIVE-THRU VERSION AND NO TEAL DEAR, SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM WHERE I VOTE!)

Vote Songstress.

I didn't like her comment about not wanting to joke vote, and competing trains between her and Smiley could net us a lot since he already stuck his neck out for her.

Ok, this could be taken as Despothera trying to get heat off Smiley, but if Songstress is mafia with Smiley, then I find it very unlikely that Despothera would suggest competing trains on TWO of his mafia teammates. Let's look at Songstress reaction during this whole voting process....

(Songstress for one felt it necessary to talk about how and why she wasn't gonna joke-vote, when she could have just not joke-voted and left it at that).

Oh, I could have. But then Wombat decided I seemed "off".

I feel a little "off" this game, to be honest, after how well D1 went for me last time. But I fear I'll be a giant D1 target from here on no matter what I say or do, so that's neither here nor there.

I've been too busy trying to help my teammates from beyond the grave in DPR's game to start my Giant Spreadsheet of Doom for this one yet. Now that things have gotten around to SRS BZNS, I should have some good stuff to work with tonight.

For many of us (even those who played this game at camp), when someone starts making excuses for why they feel a little "off" then there is likely something else that they are covering up for. She could have told Womby to kick rocks; however, instead of asking why she may appears thrown off her game, she owns it....why? Guilty conscience, perhaps?

Don't like him overreacting, WIFOMing, or playing the noob card.

Well, Wombie, those things are all somethign a noob would do by mistake.

Vote Wombat

Give him the first day, at least

OK, I just find this incredibly ironic and hilarious given Hoofy's reputation. Congratulations, Hoofy! You made it to Day 2!!!

First big ping on the scum detector this game.

Smiley I can put down to being new... Wombat to not coddling the newbie... you attacking Wombat for going after the newbie? Not so much.

Vote Hoof

*keeping my eyes on the Inquisitor over there... he's making me a bit nervous as well*

This struck me as quite interesting given that, at the time, the lynch on Smiley was beginning to get legs. After pages and pages of scummy behavior, Songstress zeros in on, who else, but Blackhoof. My take is that Songstress is trying to divert people off Smiley's lynch and onto Blackhoof, who has a reputation for being the first lynched in nearly every mafia game I've seen him in.

And who was the other vote on Blackhoof at the time? Smiley, of course!

Vote Count:

Smiley (12) - Song; Maw; Wombat; Sakaea; Meesh; Key; Tina; Pale; Razen; Des; Graendal; Eternal Phoenix

Blackhoof (2) - Smiley; Songstress

Eternal Phoenix (1) - Turin

Christine (1) - Player

Wombat (1) - Blackhoof

Not Voting: Lenlo; Ishmael; Christine; Mynd; Aiel Heart; Ironeyes

With 23 alive, it takes 12 to lynch.

Deadline: Friday 5:00 PM (GMT-5)

I've replaced MCS in the above quote as well as Lenlo for arguments sake, both of us not voting. Ishy and Christine have argued offline activites have dampened their attention to the game, which may just be an excuse, but for now, let's rule them out as scum.....we can always come back to them. What sticks out to me first is why are Aiel Heart and Ironeyes not voting? They can't bandwagon on Blackhoof because Smiley and possibly another mafia teammate are the only other votes.

But then again, look at the latter half of Smiley's lynch. Eternal Phoenix, who spends a bulk of the time trying to distract off Smiley's lynch, suddenly votes without explanation. Essentially a hammer vote in a non-hammer game. It was as if the mafia had already resigned, based on the time left till deadline, that Smiley would take the fall. His LACK of explanation reeks of scum to me.

...and who did he UNVOTE to vote Smiley at the last minute? BLACKHOOF!

IS there any way for us to find out the roles of teh ded?

Why are you role-fishing the dead?

Ok off the wall question... how does killing at night happen? I don't understand that...

WOW, and the Oscar goes to...ETERNAL PHOENIX for his "IM NOT SCUM, IM A NEWB" performance in Mistborn Mafia! *applause*

Seriously, please try harder next time to remind us how much of a newb you are. A true newb would have PM'd the Mod, but your blatant post in front of everyone reeks of scum trying to pretend they have no idea how a night kill works.

Based on my first read, I think all signs point to Songstress. If she flips town, it makes Despothera look incredibly scummy for trying to distract off the Smiley lynch. If she flips town, it pretty much makes Despo either the dumbest mafia player around (strongly doubtful) or a townie trying to get two trains going, which is consistent with his town gameplay in past games.

I'd like to hear why Aiel Heart AND Iron Eyes chose not to vote at all when they both seemed quite active. Also, why did Eternal Phoenix hammer without any explanation, yet doesn't know what a night kill is?

Oh and throw Graendel's Favorite in the mix as well for voting after the hammer but being mushed in the middle of the vote.

The person hired to replace my previous post has been sacked. Please note the CORRECTION to the previous afromentioned correction from the post before, as it should make a lot more sense. Now, I'm cross-eyed and going to bed. Good night!

You realise this is literally my first game with no background into mafia previously I don't even know what a hammer is... I asked my question here instead of pm because I woulda had to wait til the one time that Locke is on instead of getting the answer while I'm on since I'm on the other side of the world it just seemed like common sense just sayin.

Ive just done a full reread and I agree with Mynd low and behold. Song is the best litmus test we have currently.

Id also like to throw Maw up for a look at since his post where he downplays his ability. It just didnt sit well at all with me.

(I know this is like my second post but I got super busy. My notes are now pretty up to date so I should be ok for now, and my job ends this week)
