Well either your claiming a role there or you're using flawed reasoning for your vote. His alignment in previous games has absolutely no bearing on his alignment in this game.

regarding the bolded part of your post

the word "know" implies that you have some form of information the rest of us do not have

if this information is known to you because you "know Kivam" would you care to expand on that and explain how knowing Kivam gives you information on him that someone who does not know him, such as myself, would not have?

because the second part of your sentence where you say "most likely" implies that you are in fact not sure whether or not Kivam is scum or town

my vote is based on a single fact: Kivam did not make a case nor even explain his vote on BG

as far as we know he has none and/or he was just attempting to slip a vote in

whatever the case may be I find that to be the scummiest action thus far and intend to vote him until he explains himself

and perhaps after too if the explanation is not satisfactory

IMHO, Min is an experienced enough player that she should have realized that her post would cause some raised eyebrows, so to speak. So I can only assume she did it on purpose for some reason. What that might be, not sure. But I do find it suspicious, so for now VOTE MIN

why do you assume I skimmed his posts?

I read both of them several times

his reason for being rushed seems somewhat irrelevant to the game

 

it's understandable that he'd want to get involved ASAP lest someone say he's lurking

however it seems reckless to just throw a vote out without a reason which is my main concern here

and if he does have a reason and he just didn't have the time to tell us why didn't he at least say so? that's better than nothing isn't it?

 

even if he's in a rush Kivam doesn't strike me as the type of person who doesn't think about the consequences of his actions

which leaves me to conclude that there are three possibilities for why he did this

 

1. he does indeed have a case he can make on BG and was in fact in a rush, I'd chalk this up to poor play myself

IMO if this is the case he'd have been better served to just wait until he had time to post properly

 

2. he's scum and making a risky gambit to either slip a vote in unnoticed (so he can claim later that he was active on d1 when he really wasn't) or he wants BG specifically dead for one reason or another and was hoping a train would build up

 

3. he has some kind of "on death" ability and is trying to get himself lynched

maybe if he's killed he can interact with ghosts in some way

maybe kill them or bring them back to life?

could just be a jester/fool but I don't think blackhoof would use that role

on the other hand he could be scum trying to WIFOM this possibility

 

whatever the case may be I'm not entirely convinced of Kivam's guilt and I don't intend to lynch him at this point

what I want is some further explanation and I'm using my vote to make that clear

and the fact that there is the vague possibility of ghosts being resurrected

could be you're a lyncher going for a quick/easy win

or maybe your role gives you some kind of knowledge (such as the siblings/lovers role) and you're willing to sacrifice yourself in order to take out Kivam

The only SLIGHTLY annoying thing about this game (Ya know I love ya game, Hoofyloofypoofydee) is that we don't get anything verified upon the death of a person. Coz, ya know, no alignments or roles revealed upon death. So EVEN if Min is telling the truth OR lying, we can't really progress anywhere with anything.

 

So... *sighs* SO difficult. I'm more interested to pressure than anything for now.

in my experience with no coroner type games the safest route is to lynch both people when someone makes an accusation such as this

however I'm not quite ready to resort to that

(insert number) people voting for the same person in quick succession. Which is what you, Min and Nolder did. From Mins vote to yours there were 4 votes cast, and Kivam cast one of them (on BG). I don't know of a better text book case of people trying to bandwagon...

Okay well if your calling that the basis of your case then I guess your right it's not baseless. Just laughable (that goes for meesh too since you both used the same weak reasoning). It's day one. Not every vote is going to come with a reason, especially not when several people had already established the reasoning to vote for BG, who Kivam voted for. I can only speculate, but if he had another reason to vote for BG I would think he would it. That leads me to believe he just agreed with the already established "case" (which is weak IMO, but again day one).

 

Anyways.. I really don't think this is going to go anywhere, and since I find another person more fishy at the moment I'm going to let it be... Feel free to comment though.

Yes, I could imagine that a mafia player would be bold and brash, because it's not expected of them, why I don't know, but I get the feel people expect mafia to try and be as active as necessary. And there are only two ways that you can know that Kivam is scum:

 

A. You have some role, that I've never heard of, that allows you to know the alignment of a character at the very beginning of the game.

 

B. You are scum, and so is he and you guys are trying some sort of play/gambit/maneuver.

 

Actually, I guess there is a C... You have a role that requires you to make it impossible to NOT lynch you.
