Yeah he did and his books mean allot to allot of people from all over the world. Me and my hubby spent our first date reading the first WoT book to one another, so now for us the series have become a symbol of our relationship. It is amazing how and American author can get a couple of kids in Norway to fall in love over one of his books. :D
