Id have to go with Blade on the vampire front. Spike... no. Sorry, but Id rather watch some badassery as opposed to some insane amalgamation of comedy and murder. Skip the comedy part.

That being said, I think Blade goes downhill after the first one.

Crap who derailed my awesome thread with vampire rubbish :B, If you want an awesome Vampire it's either original Dracula or Blade :B

Actually, if I may respectfully disagree, in my opinion, it is William the Bloody (Spike).

Favorite non-human character? Is Kryptonian non-human enough? If so, then Kal El, good ol' Supes.

Traditional fantasy non-human charachter might have to be Tasselhoff Burrfoot. Loved that little idiot.

If we are sticking solely to fantasy, then I would say Drizzt. Otherwise, I would go with Spock. (Does being half-human disqualify a character from consideration?)

Loial, Frodo and Legolas are good choices but the one and only is Yoda.

I'm not sure can Death (tall, dark, speaks in ALL CAPS) be considered, as he is anthropomorphic and so somewhat human...

Aww, who cares. Death it is.

Daleks are cool, though. (but less so than fezes  )

No love for Alucard?(Warning: Very violent) Admittedly, he's just supposed to be Dracula.

I remember reading Animorphs as a kid and the Ellemist was my favorite character. Think if him as a technological deity that uses galaxies and entire species as pieces on a chess board in a cosmic battle against evil. The Chee were pretty cool too. extremely ancient canine robots that created an underground paradise for dogs to live in peace
