You could have easily said that you couldn't reveal 'because you would lose your role' People may not believe you that goes with the territory in this game.

 

Talya do you want me to go back to day one and search for every time I said I could not give a full reveal? I said it over and over again. Like I said no one is listening to me anyway.

 

I try to explain theories and ideas to help the noobs and everyone thinks I am scum. I check people and reveal as much as possible and people think I am scum. No matter what I say or do you all think I am not being truthful. Does Doc seem like a scum character? To my knowledge I am the only dwarf. I mean he seemed the brightest of the two so I can see him having this role. As far as a cult, who knows. I have not been recruit and am not part of a cult. I would have gone with the hyenas from the Lion King. That way you aren't limited to the members the cult can recruit. Then again that is me and Lily is not me. Just my thoughts again.

Min, the thing is, is not to bite toi it. just to say I can't reveal otherwise I lose my role. If people don't believe you then tough, but you seemed to give in too easy. If you turn out to be eveil it won't look good for Pete.

Well if you remember I still think Pete is scum and somehow got by my talent. I just don't trust it. He could be cult. He never said anything about that if you think about it.

 

I honestly think some of the mafia is flying under the radar. If you think about it they target people who don't post much. That then makes us assume that the mafia is vocal. What if the mafia or at least some of the members are flying under the radar. Talya I would love your take on that idea.

Min, I have recently been toying with the same idea of the mafia being at least PARTIALLY under the surface. Obviously, with Al Jenn as the example, some of them have been pretty vocal, but there are far more less vocal people to which we have no clue what to think..

 

Which brings me to Marta.. That was a very random seeming vote on a revealed townie that has a helpful detective role. I know this is your first game, as it is mine, but a vote without an explanation, or even the PROMISE of an explanation, is just VERY scummy on day 3. If you don't explain by the time I get up in the morning, my vote is on you.

 

P.S. Talya, I had said many times before that you were on my suspicion list, Al Jenn was just at the front of it. I believe my list consisted of Al Jenn, Ed, Min, Talya, and possibly Pete..

I am inclined to believe Min for right now, and Al Jenn is dead, but other than that my list stands the same. I'm not going to go reread 30 pages of posts just to find the relevant post, so I ask you to take my word that this is not a new suspicion on you, just something I was going to finally focus on.

I would say probably both, they will have both players that are vocal and ones that are quiet. I think that they target the quiet ones is because they give away little evidence to go back too. I think that unfortunately the big finder roles went to ones that are more naturally quiet, those being more likely targeted. We know Al jenn was on the team, so I would say that, he could easily have organised those kills. I think it would be hard to say whether they are those that are staying low or not. Like I said more likely mixed between the quiet and the loud.

Min...the main reason I don't believe you is because you should be dead by now with a Day one reveal. Either by night kill, or by the mafia leading a reasonably easy lynch on you. As scum, I would have been case-building all over you for that.

You chose someone who is OBVIOUSLY not scum. And do not seem to offer an explanation. I would be inclined to believe it's just a vote placement if you explained yourself. But ending you statement with a 'but' and not explaining yourself just irritates me. So you can post an explanation. Otherwise my vote stays.

Bah, that is what I get for posting before work and being in a hurry. So totally lame. I would have acted almost the same if I was town to let you all know. You guys wouldn't have gotten a majority on me though, to many people wouldn't have voted for me *Smiles*

 

Talya I always wanted to do Kivam's gambit, Limi stay low, Min is evil, I wish I could have lynched Pete, Ed... the monkey thing suits you, Adella you have good instincts, amadine is a LLL, Wombat... you have been hilarious, Sarah you're tricky so don't let anyone know, Verbal... I know *Winks*, Cairos I like how no one has doubted your ability, and to my mafia buddies good job at staying hidden.

honestly, Al was most likely setting up a WIFOM situation more than outting his team mates.  he listed the people who were most outspoken agaisnt him which leads me to think that majority of the peolpe he listed are townies, the bad thing is, even though he's setting people up i thin he's thrown some truths in there as well, which only makes his story more believable.

 

i think the truths in his statement are about Ed, Pete, Wombat, Sarah and about his Mafia buddies.

 

he contradicts himself about Talya, first claiming a gambit with her then saying he'll see her lynched *shakes head* the gambit thing is too obvious though, it wreaks of a set up.  especially with there being so many players in here that knows what that gambit is as well as newer players that might not have seen a gambit done.  talk about major WIFOM.

 

again we've pretty much confirmed adamine and adella as innocents, so unless they were recruited this also smells of a set up.

 

the part about Min could be true, her character claim is interesting though i'd see the dwarves as masons more than cult as they are good guys.  it seems that boopsy is backing her up though, so if she does flip scum we atleast have another person to look at, where as if she flips innocent that will clear boopsy.  so atleast her death, if she is lynched or nk'd, will give us info.  

 

again, the thing with Verbal, though i still believe he was being defensive, i don't think Al knew anything at all.  he was a juggler, a role that normally switches two characters powers.  he only picks the people and doesn't learn the powers being switched.  again this is just WIFOM  

 

 

 

i happen to believe Talya and Min are innocent though.  their actively hunting down scum which i don't think the mafia would do.  and as pete has gone uncontested, as well as how he revieled, i believe him as well.  though i'm unsure whether or not he's town.  being rather quiet; but it could also be his two games he's modding as well.  i know how that is *nods*

 

 

 

now whats intersting is that he had a PR and was scum.

 

we also know that Ed has a PR, and something about Ed just doesn't sit right.  i can't put my finger on it but could it be just happenstance abotu the PR thing.  it might be that a member of the mafia team is able to give out PR's and is giving them to their buddies to keep them flying under the radar.  i know, weird theory but in most games the PR ability is one that the mafia has because of how much confusion it causes.

I'm reluctant to change my vote to Marta at the moment.

 

I will say however that, until the beginning of the day we had a t least one healer which might have explained why Min is still around. It's why it's not a reason I think she could be mafia. The healer/s (if there is more than one) would be divided, now why would mafia risk losing a kill on those that could be saved. So they go for those that aren't on much, thus not having the healers trying to save them.

 

I would like to hear what Marta says. I don't know what time zone she is on, she may have done that to just get a vote in (but a odd p0erson to put a vote on, when there are better choices)

 

Boopsy, please remember that if there are recruiters around, then she is not completely innocent, just one of the most likely innocents!

 

Red I don't think bringing a new lynch into this really helps at this stage!

I'm a little leery of this bandwagon on Marta, she got a lot of votes awfully fast and hasn't had time to defend herself. And I honestly think she just hasn't been keeping up with the thread, she's a new player that sometime get overwhelmed. And while i agree inactive players don't help at all, I'm not going to vote for one when i have other suspicions.

And I know you've 'explained' but I still don't understand why you revealed your character if it meant losing your very valuable power. You only had 3 votes; no need to crack under the pressure so soon, especially when it costs us so much. And on the off-chance you are telling the truth, well, at least we wouldn't be losing a finder anymore, since you've apparently lost that ability.

Let's think about this. Why would a mafia vote for Al Jenn after he was killed, then vote for a "confirmed" townie. Doesn't make sense. I know I sound exactly like Al Jenn over there in the dream world, but honestly, it's the first thing I thought of. Marta has not been reading the thread. She just jumped in with a vote. If y'all wanna go ahead and lynch her anyway, I have no problem with that. She might even be inactive scum. I just have the feeling she's an inactive townie. That's all I have to say on the subject. Hope you don't think I'm scum for the defense.  ;D
