Well, Boopsy, I haven't voted for you, either. In any of the games.....lol. But, yeah, some people just seem to always die early. It will wear off eventually, I think.

 

Um, not necessarily, Charis. There are roles that view one way the first time only. It adds to the confusion.

Also, about the symp, the Symp knows who the mafia are, but the mafia don't know who the symp is.  So, the Symp can often help the mafia out, though they don't want to be too obvious about it.  Like, they can try and direct a lynch away from a mafioso, or they can even draw attention to themself to keep eyes away from mafia, etc.

 

And Ed, about "stimulating conversation," that's better done when it's actually relevant to the game.  Like, discussions about the game are better than spam or unrelated discussions.  I'm not perfect in that regard, but I never try and excuse my spam as anything other than what it is--irrelevant.

Ahhh...but the 'spam' in this game for like 5 pages was about the book/movie...

 

People talking about it might show signs to their roles and/or alignments.

 

Now, I know not all spam is relevant, but there are clues on the posts that have spam sometimes...

 

I have stopped following Princes Bride besause that one was just crazy (sorry Nae)...

In Mafia Rev, yea...I spammed a lot at the beginning, but I I do a lot of game relevant posts now.

 

In this game too, I am trying to keep it game relevant, because I know many people *looks at Pete* don't like spam.

Thanks for the extra info on the Symp (which sounds like some mythical creature and is the cause of my confusion). Mafia games are way too developed with special characters and ploys that it will take awhile to catch up on everything...

Strange logic we have here... Boopsy has the most votes, and so if you don't want a random lynch why not vote for him? You have a reason? Or was that a slip?

 

*shrugs* I think it's just the way I am. When I was in my first game people said I was acting perky coz I'm Mafia. in the second game they said I act perky coz I'm mafia AND THEN lynched me coz I was frozen and couldn't act perky. Now I'm perky in this game and getting lynched. I see where this is going... but I'm perky in ALL my threads. Not just the Mafia ones. So... yeah.

 

Other than that, I think it's just a matter of me still being too inexperienced to do much theorizing. I'm not the Rey, who can just point and confidently say YOU'RE EVIL. Or Pete, who REALLY observes and comes up with brilliant deductions. Or couple of other people who can make this game a part of their portfolio of expertise.

I find Cairos' question interesting. What, did you miss Boopsy's reason initially? Or is this a cover up on a gambit you're pulling with Boopsy?  Like: "I'm gonna make it look like I'm asking why I shouldn't lynch him" and then proceed to vote for Alanna?

The fact is, Jaydena is a good player I happen to trust. She would not break a post restriction and get herself killed if she didn't have a solid reason for suspecting you. Coupled with a few shady comments and a bit of my aggression being thrown round I am 100% sure your Mafia. People, lynch Boopsy. Mafia if I ever saw it. If I'm wrong (and I'm not) then just lynch me the next day.

crap, i'm sorry ya'll thought i had removed her.  i went through all 23 pages 2 or 3 times to make sure i got the vote count right before posting it  *shakes head*  has been a long and tiering weekand.  didn't get home till 2am sunday cause of the saints game and traffic being horrible in New Orleans  and then didn't get to sleep until late last night (around 11pm) because bubba was being a butt-head

It appears Rey has a dayfinding ability. If he doesn't then he could not be one hundred percent sure. Unless he is just saying he feels really strong that boopsy is mafia. The only people I am 100% sure are innocents are myself and Jade, everyone is suspect due to mafia getting recruits in some games, the cult with its recruiting ability, and other possibilities. Nothing should be taken at face value, even coming from a finder, with roles like the godfather even their readings could be flawed.
