Announcing Resurrection Mafia!

Righto folks, for this game I need either 12 or 16 players. It will start after Dsage's game finishes.

 

If the name Resurrection Mafia didn't give you a clue, this should: bringing dead players back into the game is an integral part of it. Here is my proposed ruleset, which I reserve the right to tinker with:

 

 

 

Rules of Player Conduct:

 

1) Do not quote mod PMs. Breaking this rule can result in a modkill, at my discretion.

2) You may talk outside of the thread, if you so choose.

3) You may edit posts, if you so choose.

 

 

How the Game Works:

 

1) Each day will last approximately a week, and each night 72 hours.

2) Each day, a vote will be taken for the lynch. If a majority vote is reached, then the player will be lynched. If a majority vote is not reached, then there will be no lynch.

3) I will not reveal the alignment of the lynchee until the next morning.

4) Every player has the ability to vote at night for a player that they wish to resurrect. This vote will be private (via PMs) and results will not be posed. However, the percentage of votes received for the player who is eventually resurrected will be posted. For somebody to be resurrected at least 1/2 of the people alive must have cast votes.

5) There will be an 'underworld' thread where those people who have been killed may gather and discuss the game.

I'm new to the whole Mafia thing, but I've read the rules a few times, and looked back at some games going on. Do you allow newbie players like me ;)?

:( I'm sorry, Pandy.  I'm going to have to back out of this one.  I'm done with mafia for a while.  I can't handle it right now.  I don't know when I'll be back into playing, but hopefully it won't be TOO long.  I do like the game, I just don't care to play it anymore.

 

Also, as a side note; I MAY mod a beginner game after DSage's Heroes v. Villains mafia game is over, because so many people are counting on it.  I had fun modding the beginner game I did before, so I think I can handle another one.

 

Anyway.  Take me off your list.  I'll watch the game, though.  I want to see what happens. :)

Awesome, even with Meesha's departure we have 12 people. I can start this game now, though I have to wait for Sagey's game to finish.

 

That said, signups are still open - I would love to have 16 people play.
