If its full of chocolate yes ::) :D

I'm sort of wondering about what certain people have found in their boxes, maybe they have a NK option? I wonder if that means they can use it once or if different ones can keep getting used, like Talya asked in a previous post.

Wow i just read the last few pages and I'm getting a very good notion that people want me lynched ;D

but hopeful you wont get your wish *stares at Luddy* 8)

*Haunts the halls in her striped stole*  :P

*Wonders what earthly reason there was to night kill her*

:o WHOA! *Is in shock!* Who could've guessed Elgee was the AS?? And oh Verb! Poor Verbal - in the last mafia game I played with him, he was killed off first day! *sad smile*

These killings look random. Two different groups? It must've been two different ppl using points or maybe 'gifts' from Gypsy?

Posted

But Pale I think there are probably groups with enough points to have NKed last night, and also maybe one of those things in the boxes was the ability to view someone? Who knows, to be honest there are any number of possibilities.

At the moment I can't see any links to anyone killing either Elgee or Verb, so I'm going to stick with a Dae vote for now.

Now... show me the chocolate! Probably not best when I have just had a filling!

If we're going to lynch Dae, we might as well get on with it.

[glow=red,2,300]Daetirion[/glow]

I recall that Talya had one of the boxes from Gypsy and Verb the other, but Verb is now dead. Wasn't there someone else with a box earlier too? So based on that we have three possibilities I think:

1. Both were NKs, done by teams with enough points.

2. One NK and the other was the result of whatever was in the 'gifts'.

3. Both were the result of whatever was in the 'gifts'.

I think that is a good possibility that possibly verb was a gaidin to Elgee and whatever was in the box killed him and by proxy his bonded? Just throwing that out there.

Yea, bonding doesnt seem likely in this game. (But, then again - that could've been a 'gift' so we cant rule it out.)

I'll cast my vote for [glow=red,2,300]Dae[/glow], too.

LOL true but you never know, who said the items were good. I mean it's possible if you go with the theory that there is a cult that those items are evilish angreals. Not sure but I am kind of wondering right now. Also just cause your a Red doesn't mean you can't bond, remember  the Reds bond here at DM.

I think at the beginning it said all were Aes Sedai, so I guess thats ot an option!

[glow=red,2,300]Dae[/glow]

Thought I would get that out of the way. Mine is not a proactive angreal, that is all I will say!

Posted

LOL well remember that I am an Aes Sedai and I am bonded to several other Aes Sedai. I just feel like it's an option myself but we shall have to wait and see how things pan out.

Posted

[glow=red,2,300]Dae[/glow]  I never thought of the possibility of a bond in the game, but it's something to think about.  But I think that the "gifts" people got for having the best posts are probably helpful to whoever has one.

Posted

It was just because you said he could have been her Warder, so I didn't think that was a possibility because he was a member of the Red, but I won't discount the fact that they could have been bonded... just not a warder bond.

Meesh I agree with you on that.

I vote [glow=red,2,300]Dae[/glow] too.

I tend to believe Talya about her gift not being proactive, because mine's not, either. I can't speak for hers, but mine is much more subtle than that. Verb's clearly didn't do him any good at all. I'd guess they are very different from the things we can purchase with our points.

I guess I was wrong. Some Ajahs did have enough points to take some actions last night. So, some Ajahs have bigger point earners than mine. That's the first thing in this game that has actually scared me. It must be more than one big point earner in an Ajah, and I don't think one Ajah killed both, so we must have two Ajahs with more than one big point earner.

For now, I'll withhold my vote. I want to go over the points given again, and see if I can see any combinations that stick out at me.

Wow I am gone for a day and look what happends. Crazy.

Now there was something that none of the other sisters appeared to notice, Verbal sedai found something on the ground when he fell. Their were two boxes but only one would fit in his bosom so he made a choice and we will see what is to become of it.

I have to believe that Pete is throwing us some curve balls here. All the boxes have come in pairs and the person that got them had to choose. I think Verb picked the wrong one.

I think Elgee was picked by someone that had high points and could NK.

I am going to hold off my vote until I add up the points. I think now we are getting to the point where we need to choose other than inactive people to vote off. We can always go back to voting inactives later. For now I would rather lynch threats.

Posted

Ah, so you're going to add up who has how many points?  That won't necessarily help you, because no single person has earned enough points for a NK, I believe.  I may be wrong, of course, but I don't think so.

Unless you know who is in what team with who, totaling up everyone's points won't do much good.  You could have two average-point earners in a team making enough to buy a night kill, and a high-point earner in a team with a low-point earner not having enough yet to purchase a night kill ter'angreal.  (by the way, when I say "high-point, low-point, or average-point," I mean overall; total points earned to date)

Also, it's possible that some teams with enough for a night kill are saving up for an a'dam, to recruit people into their Ajah.

I'm not saying that it's worthless or pointless to total up everyone's points, if that's what you're doing, I'm just saying that it's not necessarily the most helpful in determining "threats."

I also want to point out that I'm pretty sure that once you purchase a ter'angreal, you lose the points you spent.  Like in a store.  So, whoever used their points on a NK is probably low on the points-scale right now. :-\

That's the way it was in Thorum's Chocolate Factory Mafia game--once you used your chocolates on a Night action, they were gone.  Not all of them, just the ones you used.

(Most of this post was working on the assumption that by "add up the points" you meant adding up how many points each person's earned so far, Torrie.  Am I even right? >.<)

Posted

Oh, I didn't even think about that, Pallet.  The a'dam.  I forgot that it's not the sort of Night Action we'd hear about from Pete.

Dang, that's scary. >.<

When I said "Add up the points" it was meant more along the lines of look over and see who I thought was a threat. Just a gut feeling before I go and lynch somone that has not done anything.

This game is all about what you precieve to be a threat right?

Ah, okay.  That makes more sense. :D  I was sitting here thinking, "Is she CRAZY? That would take forever!"  Nice to know that you're not crazy.  At least not in THAT way. ;) :P

And it does make sense.  This is kind of what I meant about people having different priorities after Night Actions start happening.  Some are all for taking the easy way out for the moment and lynching inactives (I'll admit I'm one of them), but now some people, like yourself, are going to want to take out threats, to further their own chances of winning.

I'd have to say that if the game's not ALL about that, that is still definitely a huge element.  Each of us wants to win this game, and at the end of the day (figure of speech :P) we each have to do what we think is necessary for that to happen.
