Verbal walks in picking his nose.  He notices several people looking at him with frowns, and quickly snatches his hand away from his face.  He walks on, and can't help picking an annoying wedgie from his gown.  He then realize he's wearing a gown.

 

"What the...?!"

 

All serenity gone (like it was there to start with, heh), Verbal runs down the hallway to escape the snorts of laughter.  Not having ran in a gown since that night with the monkeys and vodka, he trips on the hem and crashes to the floor.  Noticing his twisted ankle, he looks about for Yellow sisters to Heal him.

 

A sister steps out of an adjacent door and quickly Heals him, gently touching his ankle.  He then gets a mischevious grin on his face.

 

"Umm, my behind seems to hurt as well."  :-\

 

Verbal never saw the left hook from the Yellow sister.

 

I think I know why Verbal was nightkilled. For behavior unbefitting an Aes Sedai. (See the part I bolded..... ;))

I just entered eveyone's points on my spreadsheet. I learned a few interesting things. (Such as the fact that while Mystica was a high point earner in the beginning, she's slowed way down.) I will look over the data and see who might be in the same ajahs and have enough points to have done those nightkills. I'm thinking two medium-high point earners who have flown under our radar thus far. Like, say, Pale and Luddy, just for example. They've both been really consistent in their point earnings, and not getting a lot of attention for it. Those are the types of people I'm going to look at.

 

Torrie, I wish Talya and I were working together. I'd be really confident of a win with her on my side. Sadly, that's not the case, so I have to fall back on my spreadsheet and instincts.

Actually, it's intriguing what Torrie said about Verbal picking the wrong box. So, he may have not found a 'gift' but a 'curse' in a sense. He may have done himself in. E.g. - 'if someone gets NK'd, you will be, too' I think it's too much speculation for me at this point. But, i can see the game is bound to get more and more interesting as we continue in the days.

 

One thing I just thought of -- you know how we all have an Ajah Head? So, the Amyrlin was apparently not the "Head" of her group b/c killing her did not kill off her mates. (I'm thinking here Keeper and MoN or something like that.) So, we have a possible Keeper and MoN floating around... in addition to most of the Ajahs intact. It remains to be seen which Ajah Dae is in.

At this point, I don't see any Ajah choosing their least active player to be Head, so I doubt we'll get a whole Ajah with Dae. I mean, considering we're going after less active players.

 

I seriously doubt the box is what killed Verbal. I'm sure he was nightkilled. I think it's important to begin looking at who could have done it, so I'm beginning to. It's going to take some logic and some intuition, though.

 

Verbal had 103 points all on his own, and I'm actually wondering if he wasn't on the team that nightkilled Elgee. But, that thinking isn't going to go anywhere, because he's already dead. She didn't have enough points to be a serious suspect in one of last night's murders. (She had 56.)

 

Puzzles, and more puzzles. We'll see what ends up fitting together.....

 

Torrie, your instincts are on your computer at work? *laugh* Just picking on you, hon. You have very good instincts. I'd love to see your spreadsheet after the game, though. Might get a few tips.  ;)

So, the nice reward you earned for making a top-level post is a ter'angreal indicator of some sorts, huh, Talya?  You said you don't know how you were targeted, and I'm assuming you know who, either, or you'd have said.  I think.  I don't actually know.  It just seems like the thing to do, if you know who wants you dead. :P

 

So, does your ter'angreal-thing block a night action, too?  It would seem that it's so, otherwise you'd know if the action was an aggressive one or not.

 

That's interesting, though.  It makes me want a freaking win during the Day Phase. >.<  I wanna win!

I doubt that killing of AS/MoN/Keeper will end the game, unless they're one of the last two teams left.

I agree with you, El.  I'm pretty sure that the endgame conditions are that the last Ajah standing wins.  I doubt the AS/MoN/Keeper would have that much power over the game. 

If they did, we wouldn't really be in this predicament, right?  They would just step up and reassert their authority and send us all back to our own quarters with no supper and our tails between our legs.

Well, so the eighth team is Amyrlin/MoN/Keeper. It was more or less clear long ago, but it's nice to have a confirmation. I remember Elgee asking where it was written that the Ajah is extinguished if its Head is dead. I suggested then that Elgee, probably, was part of the eighth team if she didn't know that. I remember someone else asking the same question. Don't remember who, if any of you look through the pages one more time, could you, please, pay attention to that?

 

I don't like the fact that two active players were nightkilled. The more reason for us to go after inactives if we don't want the game to stagnate.

Well, I'm not saying that my suspicion is definitely true, but it's better than nothing. I'd like to ask people not to divert the Dae bandwagon at the moment (we are not likely to quickly get a majority anyway, and at this point in the game it is better to lynch inactives), but we definitely need to look at it in due time.

Yes i completely agree with this, I'm going to go back and trawl through the pages because i bet there is a few more slip ups in there, in fact there are a couple of other people i need to look at, one who supported Elgee and who was around here after Elgee got killed but took a while before commenting on here.
