If you look at the game strategically, you would expect that most Ajahs are wanting to purchase an a'dam and recruit, instead of NK.  While NKs thin the herd, it is recruitment that is really key.  If mmeesh's Ajah recruits too many players, then the rest of us don't have much of a chance.

I'm not saying we should lynch mmeesh immediately, but I am saying that she constitutes the greatest threat to anybody not in her Ajah.

lol

Perfect!

I am willing to let Meesh survive for now. She may just be a good actor and totally have me fooled. Not a hard thing to do.

But every-time someone says something about Min she tries hard to redirect. That makes me paranoid.

And then Myst is just scary.  :D

I'm actually a bit confused about points b/c I didnt keep track. I mean I only had 3 points to begin with!  :P But, I thought Gypsy would just be adding on points for us and showing us the totals so now I have no idea what anyone has. *facepalm*

Also, how does recruitment even work? Once you recruit someone out of their Ajah, wouldnt their original Ajah know? Doesnt it just make you an easy target?  ???

That's a good point Charis, although I'm guessing they would pretend to still be whatever Ajah the had been recruited from, so I'm thinking their previous Ajah wouldn't know. Although I'm not sure what would happen to their points. Anyone have any thoughts?

I don't think we have to worry about it though just yet, because I don't think any Ajah would have enough points just let, and even if they did it would be too obvious, I think it will only happen later on in the game.

This is what I'm getting, too. Those two are top of my lynch wishlist. I'm glad to see someone else is getting the same vibe.

I hadn't thought about what would happen if someone were recruited. I did realize that they would go to their new Ajah with all sorts of information about their old one, but I never thought they would pretend to still be in their old one. Of course they would, though, wouldn't they? Eeek! This is getting scarier.

Oh my gosh, I didn't think about the information about their previous Ajah! They would be able to tell their new Ajah who the others members of their previous one were.

Hehehe try saying that really fast!  :D

And how many points they had, and anything they had purchased, and any plans they may have in the works. Scary, huh?

It is scary.  You could have no idea who's been recruited by which Ajah and who's still loyal to their original Ajah.  So after this day, you can't trust your teammates, or anyone else.  After today, it's going to be really difficult.

....hence why I said that the a'dam was going to be the choice of every Ajah.

Btw, Pete, I have a scenario for you as a question:

If Players A, B, and C were in an Ajah X, and Player B was recruited to another Ajah Y, once points were given out by you in thread, would the Ajah X be able to identify that Player B's points no longer count towards their total?

If so, then that is an easy way for an Ajah to identify a recruitment.  Yes, I feel like being helpful.  I'm also tipsy again.  Heh.

Well that is the strange part about the a'dam. The person being recruited, their points go to their ajah, but they can come up with some unique strategies so that can work in their advantage.

Also I only post the points earned. You have to keep track of the points. Also the hedgehog can't prevent the purchase of the a'dam but it prevents its use, so therefore whoever buys the a'dam loses the points spent and the recruitment.

this is getting more and more troublesome. My head's spinning. This still doesn't answer whether Ajahs would know if someone gets recruited though. If the points stay with the original Ajah, then it would be easy to pretend still being part of that Ajah. This is going to be quite a challenge for whoever is recruited. Especially if someone is recruited into different Ajahs.

What happens then? Say several Ajahs try to recruit the same person?  :o

First night action pmed to me will get the pm. Everyone else loses the points the a'dam costs.

That is just another one of my famous twists Myst.

All of a sudden I have a headache!!!

This is going to be complicated, in fact more so than I first thought.

So really there will be no way to know if so meone has been recruited, if the points stay with their original Ajah, I guess that makes sense.

All of the ajahs decided the pain of the memories of a happier great hall were just to much. They wanted to explore the ajah quarters. The first stop on their list was the reds. Deeper and deeper the group walked into the red corridors. They walked until the floor tiles were almost a solid mass of red with a few green and white tiles speckled around.

There is word of a special ter'angreal only to be found at the reds. And the most interesting, game related post gets it.

I don't think so, Luddy. I think its part of the game story. We started out gathering in the Hall and now are visiting the Ajahs apparently.

Exactly!

This game will take place in the seven ajah halls. Each one will have a different surprise.

Very interesting - nice twist, Pete.

Okie day - that answers the recruitment question.  This means the only way to sort of tell a recruitment has occurred will be if a heavy poster all of a sudden slows down the posting.  They wouldn't want that Ajah to get too many point, now would they?  Or perhaps they'd continue, and point their Ajah's attention in another direction so their new Ajah doesn't get targeted.  Hmm....nice little traitors.  I love it.

Btw, what phase are we in right now?  :-\

Thanks.  I'm going to place a vote, then.  This is based on multiple people having suspicions regarding her, so I don't feel like I'm inventing a case out of thin air.  I've voiced my suspicions as well, so.....
