Whats your favorite Perrin moment?

 

Mine is when he torture the Shaido for information. Thats when I realised that Perrin is almost as insane as Rand when he just loses it and goes ballistic.

I liked the part when Alliandere swore to him.

That scene was good. Most of the fight scenes with Perrin are also good. However, the scene wherein Perrin wanders into a blacksmith (what's name I'm looking for...foundry? Furnace? No, Perrin doesn't walk into a furnace...) and begins to help the blacksmith working there while the watchful eyes of Faile are upon him.

My favorite moment is when Perrin goes into the Waygate immediately and leaves for the first guidepost with Gaul remarking that it is fun to be young.  The next one is when Faile upon discovering Perrin at the guidepost immediately walks up and slaps Perrin hard.

Perrin and Tylee's interactions as she realizes he really is a man to be reckoned with.  That was just great.

My favorite scene is after Faile is kidnapped and Berelain makes a comment about a truce for a while.  Perrin says something stupid and she immediately starts flirting with him again.  Oh stupid perrin.

Perrin's wolf episodes (especially some of the wolf dreams), Perrin fighting, Perrin in the smithy, Perrin administring the TR, Perrin meeting Faile, Perrin meeting Faile's parents, Perrin dealing with Seanchan, and so on. Perrin freeing Gaul. Perrin hanging out with Gaul, while Faile was friends with Bain and Chiad.

 

When Perrin chopped that Aiel's hand off, many would probably think that he did something extremely wrong. But I can understand how he could have been prepared to do that. It was an extremely difficult situation.

My favorites would have to be the scenes when he was hunting Slayer in the Dream World. The best of those scenes was the last one when he nailed Slayer even with the ravens trying to warn him.

 

My all time favorite was the scene where he was walking through the Mayener Winged Guards tents and all the soldiers and officers were looking for his approval. He said that the "Winged Guards would do Mayene proud if there is another Dumai's Well," and then everyone goes crazy and are dancing because of what he said, even the grizzled veterans. I think it's the best example of Perrin's leadership and the fact that so many look up to him.

When he sets Gaul free from the cage in that village, the first time they met.  It was so funny how Moiraine wanted them laying low and then he went and did that.  Plus I love Gaul and Perrin's friendship.  Another moment is when he first returns to the Two Rivers in TSR, and just how everyone starts treating him like a lord and he hates it.  And when him and Davram Bashere meet for the first time and talk about Faile.  I like how he gets frustrated and just asserts his authority as Faile's husband.

    All of those have been great. Mine would be Perrin in the smithy, and when he notices the Grey Men in Illian before even Lan or Moraine sees them.

 

    But when he starts giving orders to Tam and Abell in the Two Rivers and sees the respect that Tam and Abell have for him right after finding out his family was slaughtered was really cool.

I love all the Perrin moments, I know I'm in the minority but as an overprotective husband with a love simple, happy stuff (I still get a kick out of Disneyland) I feel like he represents me best.  His concerns aren't great geopolitical mess or how he'll deal with marrying an Empress.  He fears for his home and cries over his family, and I think that's just real understandable.

when he learns his family is dead but it takes Faile to yell at him that it's okey to cry and he just breaks down.

I like the part when Perrin figures out that Luc is another man in the wolfdream.

 

I like Perrins struggle with the axe and hammer, although I think if we saw Perrin enjoy using the axe just a bit more on screen then it would have been as good as any of the times when Rand or Mat struggle with soemthing.

When he orders the torture of the for Shaido prisoners and the aftermath. I think it's the pnly moment where or heroes consciosly come to understand that sometimes you must do the unthinkable even if you will hate yourself for doing it later. A very grown-up moment.

Perrin is the shiznik! This whole series has been bearable only because he was in it. Without him it would truly suck; Perrin represents all of us!

My favorite Perrin moment is the threesome with Faile and Berelain... oh never mind that never happened. I'd have to say the battle of the Two Rivers, soup to nuts, not only my favorite Perrin moment, but possibly my favorite part of the series

Perrin is the shiznik! This whole series has been bearable only because he was in it. Without him it would truly suck; Perrin represents all of us!

 

I like most of the series myself, I dont think it rests on any particular character as heavily as that myself. There are dozens of characters for me that would keep me going if I got to that point; if Im honest, in my opinion Perrin could have been on that list but as I said earlier, his potential has f***ed of for a taxi.

My favorite Perrin moment is more of a Rand, Mat, and Perrin moment.  In tGH Mat laughs when Loial says Erith said he was handsome...

 

..."Nobody ever said Mat was handsome.  He's just jealous."

    "That's not true," Mat said..."Marisa Ayellin thinks I'm handsome...

    "Is Marisa pretty?" Loial asked.

    "She has a face like a goat," Perrin said blandly...

1.The smithy scene, as I think it sums up who Perrin is and his desire to just be a regular joe even though he can't(for all those who hate him or think he is boring)

 

2.His chat with the wolves after the capture of rand when "half-tail ask why and he says "they have caged Shadowkiller" and the wolves respond "WE COME!"

All of the mentioned favorite Perrin moments are very cool. However, my favorite one was when he led the battle to defeat the Shaido Aiel, and killed Rolan to rescue his wife, the beloved Lady Faile. :)
