I'm not sure I'd give much significance to a lack of defense. I know I don't defend my teammates when I'm scum, although I'm usually slow to bus them (it's one of my tells).

IF everyone was supposed to GET that kat was IC before she was outted, how come Hallia didn't have her higher on her town list.  Hallia is a very good mafia player. I am not, YET.  I learn something new each game.  I am a lot better now than I was my first few games, IIRC.

That said, I don't hate the line of passing it to a middle-of-the-road player like myself, Hallia, or Kat. People who aren't on the top of the NK list but are still active enough to make a good choice about what to do with the role afterward. I also like the idea of passing it to someone who's suspect, like BFG or Illian. A 1x vig shot that can't kill town is pretty dang powerful.

Of course I didn't give you examples.  I wanted to see if you had any thoughts on the matter of your own since it seemed like you were thinking about teams.

 

Chris doesn't actually want to lynch me.  But the fact that you're not seeing/understanding that is...something.  You were scum reading Chris, and town reading me...but somehow your scum read voting for you town read is fine?  because from where i'm sitting, you literally flipped your read on me BECAUSE Chris voted for me.

 

 

 

It's a team game.  You don't have to solve the whole game by yourself on D1.  No one expects that.  But it really helps when everyone contributes to the game in a positive, meaningful way.  If everyone sits back and waits for other people to contribute and do things, then there is little incentive for anyone to do anything, and scum can either sit back while town does nothing, or they can step in, take control of the thread and lead town around by the nose.

Yours is just a gut feeling.  IF it wasn't for this bugging gut feeling I would say you are town.  However, everytime I think of writing you as town, my gut says no you're scum.  Only two times have I listened to my gut and both times I was right.  Doesn't mean I can't be wrong but 100% so far makes me want to trust it.  The two times were my first and last games.

Your updated reads came after I asked and like 3-4 posts after Chris "voted" me.  Which you seemed to think was a serious vote at the time because a) you were confused b) you said you were fine with it because SP.  Your previous reads list had me as slight town.

 

So from my perspective it seemed like your updated reads were a direct result of Chris "voting" for me because you seemed to think it somehow made us teamed because you thought he was bussing me.  It doesn't matter if it was actually a legitimate vote, the only thing that matters is that at the time you seemed to think it was, which is why I said what I did.

...You know, I actually want to see where this goes.  ##Lynch Zander, mostly for raisins I don't want to get into right this second.

 

I still have no idea if BFG's vote on me is meant to be serious or not.  Zander, to answer your question, yeah.  I'm pretty sure she's not sitting in QT completely frozen because she doesn't know what to say.  The only argument I could really see for saying she's THIS inactive based on her being mafia is if you want to argue she'd completely inconvenience herself as town and force herself to play when she's physically incapable.  I already told you what my issue with her so far is.
