The Lord Ruler watched it trickle down like black snowflakes.  He sighed.  This had been his home for a millennia, but Ruin was moving in it.  He could feel it.  Watching.  Waiting.  Soon the Well would once more beckon for a Hero of Ages and unbeknownst to those below their God would be there to answer its' call.  It was his duty.
