i looked and it says you already have 160 posts in this thread, then i went and looked at one of your scum games (bolshevik) and you had 200ish posts in a 3400 post thread and in this game which has 460ish posts you have over 160 for a third of the thread.

 

shitposts or not, if you are gonna keep up that ratio and have 30% of the posts in the thread, im not gonna worry about you.

I'm caught up, again.  no idea about anything though.  Too much stuff going on, too few times to follow it.  I had to buy a malware removal kit.  I tried Malwarebytes free version last night and it said I had no malware.  However, today I bought one and it said I had 17 infections. I am going to reread from page 20 up and do some quotes.

this post certifies that i, bopolis, have read all the posts since I left and the only changes in feeling are the following:

 

moving the hydra from leaning scum to leaning town for a couple reasons;

 

1) nyn gave reads

 

2) the way nyn said "im giving my reads on QT so ask hallia later" instead of something like "i don't have reads yet(or something similar)" makes me believe that they are probably town for several reasons. The most easy for me to vocalize is that I believe based on what she said there is actually a QT where she is jotting down reads/thoughts rather than she is just saying that as a lying scum. If she's a lying scum, she can actually just give her fake reads, the fact that she goes the extra step to say she's quoting from her thoughts on the QT reads to me as legit rather than something she's adding in to give herself more credibility and to look towny. Not sure if I am making my feeling on this understandable but I hope that I am. One caveat to this is that if she has some sort of history in leveraging elements like hydra QT in order to look more towny, then this whole paragraph is null and void. My impression of her from a discord group we are both on is that she's pretty straightforward so i'm going with that unless told otherwise by multiple sources not hallia.

Nyn made a lot of reads in her hydra QT in the last game I modded so I can verify.

 

There were also similarly made irt you and Calder with her reasonings where it's sort of gut feels/intuition before hard analysis.

Difference between my town game and scum game tho.

I am high volume either way. What matters is the quality of the posts. When I'm scum I'm obviously not trying to solve. I find a lot to talk about, but the substance isn't there.

Shad has said that when I'm scum, I tend to try and connect a teammate to a Villager over trying to connect 2 villagers. I'm not aware of this myself, so can't say if that's right or not.

The things I decide are worth notice apparently come off as weird as either alignment. The way I approach the game tends to make a lot of people think I'm scummy regardless of alignment.

You do look like you're being honest. I don't think that someone would respond saying that their scum game just isn't good unless they were (a) town or (b) very confident in their scum abilities. 

 

 

I snipped the post that was same as above. Here we have tiink who is a more seasoned player saying that dricky looks like he could be honest.  However, again this is a lying game.  Tiink could be doing 1 of 2 things:

 

1. genuinely sticking up for dricky (though I seem to remember some other talk later in thread will have to rafo)

 

or

 

2. laying a foundation to push dricky under the bus in some sort of way

 

Plus it was more of a failed summon than anything else.

Although you are due a scum role. 2 games in a row as non-mafia

 

I have to say I disagree with this.  I have only played mafia a couple times during my mafia playing career and now is not one of them either.  I have been town like mega games in a row - slight exaggeration - including this one.

By role spec I assume you mean my saying calder is due a scum role. He is >rand to get scum. I think he averages 45%.

I've taken to just opening a new browser window half the time.  The posts go through instantly but the page takes an eternity to reload.
