Ironically, the fact she was spouting so much nonsense made me want to clear her because I didn't want to wade through it. lol.

I know a lot of people feel volume is alignment-indicative (and for some people it is) but it's always good to double-check and make sure it's not just how they operate as a wolf. Both the last game she'd played before this (Star Fox, which ended right as this started IIRC) and the last game she played here as a wolf she had the same sort of high-volume low-content approach, so you can tick the [x] don't clear her for that checkbox in the future.

Combination of a lot of things. I'm realizing I'm just not right with this group anymore. There's also no way I can keep up, so I'm either officially quitting altogether or moving offsite to somewhere that is lower volume and I don't have to feel stressed out every time I play.

 

I'm with you. I'm playing in the BT and that will probably be my last DM game for a while. People here are too fond of posting volume. Even if y'all are fun players to play with, it's just too much.

I'm thinking something distinct from the 'serious' games in the mafia forums.

 

I don't know, I've skimmed like 150+ early games on DM now and I have a pretty good grasp on what worked for which types of players.

 

This forum has a good thing going, and the level of competitiveness here isn't something I want to see go away.

 

I just want a separate series of games for people who don't want to/can't get invested in that.

 

Like I've been playing more games off-site than on DM lately, and by and large I enjoy the DM ones most, but they're so draining. I go elsewhere for more casual games. We can just do those here too.

Day end was Cory's idea, role switch was mine. We work quite well together :).
