tl;dr:

 

 

First time I killed I was testing the waters to see if there was a vigilante in the game. Figured they would also shoot kivam and they would be more willing to claim the shot than I was. The other nights well I was betting on town winning only by a little so there was no point in hurrying up the game. Unfortunately that f4 situation meant I had to risk killing or doubling up on Thane. As it turned out we doubled up because you killed him too.

I was okay with town winning too I guess. I also thought of another possibility. If I encourage you to shoot me as I holster and then next day I lynch Lenlo with you and then we kill each other, no one wins.
