First you had that post with the quotes between me and Zander about thane but then you realized that that wasn't even my quote so I'm still not sure what you were getting at. That's leaving me a little confused. In addition you had a comment that you don't pay attention to the vote counts? Thats also leaving me a little confused. That makes absolutely no sense to me, how can you be a villager and literally not care about what's going on in your village?

Ignore that. I thought the first post was from you, and the posts had differing views on Nolder. It confused me. I wanted clarification.

 

As for the ignoring vote counts, I said that I don't pay attention to them when I'm voting, as it's not a factor in who I vote, which was what Nyn was assuming I did. And vote counts really only matter once the lynch is resolved and we can look back on what happened anyway. Not understanding why this is an issue. I never have cared about who is the lead train or who is voting who while it's going on (unless it's me, ofc). What matters are the reasons behind the votes and the timing of the votes.

The argument looks to me more like - Nolder makes some weak accusation and Zander asks for proof - and that was pretty much what was happening for a couple of pages. Neither of them looked like any intent to figure out alignments or hunt. It was a bit passive and weak attempt which makes me think it is not v/v

Zander, if you are Town this game you're not having very much fun with it it seems. In terms of this particular example, you said during the aftermath of last game that you would be wary of Laine for a while. I don't expect that that is very difficult to fake, so in terms of your alignment I think it's null.

 

 

Ill admit Im not having as much fun because as everyone knows I like to be in the thick of things and joking a lot. But I understand how the ton of posting can get annoying to others and make them enjoy the game less and Im not the type of person that wants to ruin things for others.  So Im trying to balance having fun while trying to keep myself reigned in.

 

Apparently this is what you get when that happens.  But rest assured, my dedication to lunching the wolves as not diminished in the slightest.

 

Split it between Advanced and Basic games and I wont care as much.

As in, in Basic games don't do it but in Advanced go wild if that's what you want.

Probably one of you is scum and just doesn't care but I'm sure there is also a townie in the mix thinking to themselves "nailed'em". You'll just shrug it off after I'm lynched and probably blame me for hitting that meta in the first place but that's exactly my point. Meta itself is not very reliable and even when it is no one, not one single person, is as good at reading and applying meta as they think they are. It's like trying to light a lamp by catching a lightning bolt and throwing it at the cord. If you think you're Zeus by all means tout your amazing meta reads. What you either don't get... or pretend to not be getting... is that for people to be able to read a player, they need to be able to understand what the player is thinking, which requires that player to be transparent. There is nothing wrong with making preliminary reads and changing them, as long as the flow of that is compatible with what's going on in thread and as long as it's well explained. You seem fixated on how it's not helpful TO YOU to present your reads, but it would most certainly be helpful for the rest of us to read you.

 

In my experience, a townie wouldn't be afraid to toss around reads and change it to their heart's content (and also will be more forthcoming so the rest of us could develop a read) , while a scummy would be more reluctant to do so because delaying in giving reads gives more freedom later on to adjust them to what's going on in the thread without contradicting reads they had before and then having to explain why their view changed. And that's assuming they actually notice that they're contradicting themselves.

 

 

Of course, you know all of this already. This is nothing new. So you can throw around accusations about bullying people to vote you and try to sow suspicion on your case... but you were purposefully making it harder to be read. And that's never gonna be a pro-town move in my eyes.
