Mish is Yates heavy town to you? LMK why?

All I really remember is we got into a spat

I'm not saying he's heavy town. I got a town lean, but he's a bad choice to lynch, espeially speedlynch at EOD when he's not even here, because:

1. He's not interacted with a whole lot of people, he's not given opinions on very many

2. Most people have said they have him as a town lean, not many people have discussed him.

So there's very little info to be gained, compared to others. I don't get why anyone woudl choose to go there, over other people who's been debated more andinteracted more, like Nolder, LouNy, Krak i.e. Of that list I only think Krak has done enough to deserve a lynch, but at least they'd give more info than Yates.

Do you feel really strongly that Krak is scum?

I've browsed up to 5 and still think he's >> town based on that

Vetinari was troubled. It was difficult to know this unless you knew him extremely well, and, well, nobody did, the burdens of living in a democracy where you hold the only vote. It had been several years since the alchemists had used Holy Wood magic to accidentally open a portal to the Dungeon Dimensions, and even the wizards who regularly almost blow up the Discworld had been quiet for a while. The trouble with the gonne had been months ago, and that stuff when the heroes had tried to blow up the Gods had ended with a fizzle rather than a bang.

Still troubled he took a walk through the gardens, pausing at the Scorpion Pits to look at the bones of the mime artists. Even the large signs simply stating "Learn the Words" couldn't make him feel better.

"Drumknott" he called, "tell Vimes he's late for his appointment"

Current Vote Count :

Krak (2): Sexy LouNy , Wolfish

Nolder (3): Yates, Hallia, Dice

Sexy LouNy (4): Barm, Krak, Tina, Nolder

Hallia (1) : Cory

Not voting (1): Verb

With 11 alive it takes 6 to lynch

No change

Corrected previous vote

Updated VC incoming

Edit, nope I've lost someone, give me a sec

You seem tired Cory.

antibiotics + long work days and sitting in court for stupid work stuff + little sleep makes cory a slightly loopy boy

try sitting in court AS your job. I did that for 6 mths. spent my time making lists of things like every cartoon charachter i could think of, all the transormers etc so i could stay awake

Here's my issue

I think DM gets way too caught up in the "info" of a lynch

If we lynch a villager, no matter what, we ascertain NO good information.

Lynching a wolf always beats lynching even the villager with the most content because villagery content basically means nothing because they are villagers and working with the same info we have

Not saying Yates is a good lynch, not really sure ATM

But my strategy is always to try and lynch a wolf Day 1

I don't think Krak has the highest % of being a wolf but I'm going to try and see what you two see

mish  thoughts on kraks vote?

Sorry, was on my phone and running out of battery (no wifi cause of thunderstorm) so was just redaing and typing quickly. I think a train on Yates is super stupid. He hasn't been an object of much discussion, hasn't given viewpoints on a whole lot of players, and the timing stinks. Why doesn't Krak have more votes again?

Lol you have still have yet to provide a legitimate reason for your vote on me. Me challenging Kronos on a statement he made is not a case. I think you're town here but please act like it.

I like your comment on the Yates train though, particularly your use of "super stupid."

The fact that you dont think my reason is legitimate, doesn't make it so.

It is super stupid. What do you expect to happen? For him to jump out from a bush and yell HAI GAIZ IM HERE!!! ? What would you do with your vote when/if he shows up? And if he doesn't show up... Where are you gonna put your vote then?

Again, looks upportunistic and liek you're trying to look involved like a good townie. I aint buying.

And Cory, I'm disappointed in you for following.

It does when it literally makes no sense. How can you accuse me of a double standard when my vote for Nolder literally had no justification behind it [read:rvs vote]? Please help me understand your logic here.

Btw your bolded statement is a big ping for me.

1. Nyn said it so eloquently, so I'll just leave it at that.

2. nice way of dodging all my questions. Cause that's not iffy at all /sarcasm.

3. How is that a ping? I expect Cory to have more sense than jumping on the Yates-train, wich I've listed the reasons for why is a Really Bad Idea. So yes, that disappoints me.

Oh, and nice attempt at trying to now saying you get pings from me after calling me townie for quite a while. Neither trying to turn attention to me, or discrediting me like you've tried so far, is gonna make me go away. It's just gonna make me come after you harder *flexes claws*

And I like that catch Mish. Just further firming that scum vibe from Krak.

Wait, What?!?

sorry I didn't think you were serious about those questions. I literally answered your questions with my vote. But I'll say that I hoped he would show up if he was lurking and I would have questioned him and then probably continued to vote LouNy.

Why are you trying to act like my town read on you is impervious to any scum tells you might drop?

Mish you've pushed one angle on me from the beginning and only now are pointing at Nyn's false narrative and saying "me too! Me too!" Your lack of attempt to self-reflect and try to engage is really frustrating me right now.

Not nearly as frustrating as posting from my phone this close to deadline, but still.

@Krak

I'm kinda surprised that I have to explain this, but since it's apparently something you're choosing to use to discredit me, I'll expand.

We all have different ways of playing. Cory, for instance, is very engaging. He gets a lot out of asking and interacting. Mynd is good at saying outragious stuff and gauging reactions. Hallia is less hands on but has a lot of insight. Me? I ISO and draw my conclusions. Anyone that has ever played with me is well aware of it. And you have played with me enough to know. So if you're gonna label me as scummy because I haven't asked you questions and picked your brains, then go right ahead. If something is unclear to me or doesn't make sense, I ask. But there was nothing to ask you, really. Your actions speak for themselves.

First of all, the change of your game style overnight is troubling. You've taken a very Cory-ish approach at the beginning of the game with all the questions. And half of the time the questions were kinda moot. It came across as fake. Then there's the whole thing with 'busting' Verbal that I won't even get into because it's been talked to death.

Then you egg on dice to say the number, which I don't get at all. Followed by a vote on Nolder without even explaining why. And following that with soft FoSing Mish for pointing out that Cory was posting in the sign ups but not in the actual game. Which I thought was weak. And then when Kronos says that Nolder's vote makes no sense, you get obtuse and ask him what doesn't. Then followed up on it with asking him if he's even reading the game. Zero sense.

Later you quoted my post about Nolder's vote and asked people for thoughts, without indicating what YOU made of it. It felt like you were putting it in the center of attention to see if you could get input from other players and check if it's something you can push. So Tina replies and you're like. Okay. Any more thoughts? And then Yates answers and you're like. I get it, I really do. But do you have more?. You poke Cory too and see if anything sticks out to him. Did you follow up any of those responses with what exactly you got out of these interactions and these questions? Oh that's right. You got a big fat nothing. But hey, at least you're engaging. And that's the towniest thing ever, right? :P

Then once Yates asks you what you make of of my post, you finally say that you "don't like the angle we're taking, defending Verb and prodding people about Nolder, but sitting with a vote on Verb." Which frankly is BS. And I've already explained in my ISO why our vote was on Krak. If that doesn't satisfy you, then tough.

Then you carry on with a string of emtpy questions. "How was his vote random. How is it the most random vote. I want to hear your thoughts. Do you think that vote is likely to come from rand to be scum?"  But yeah, I don't really see you following through with much. Just asking questions. And then you started off with asking people for their town leans, which again, you've never provided your on. You can spin this by saying I never asked you, but I'll spin it right back because I got the distinct feeling that you're probing people for their reads for reasons that are not pro-town. You have put on a front of being engaging, but I feel like you fell short.

Then after all the questions you direct the focus back to Lee and me. "LouNy is making me second guess myself with that blatant defense on Verb and attempt to direct attention to Nolder.  I really hope Verb/LouNy aren't scum together because I hope it's not that easy." Which is basically you following up yet again with the the single post we've made that you pushed time and time again. Even though I think I made myself rather clear about it.

Later you unvote Nolder. Not really saying why. Not that you explained the voting to begin with, so w/e, right? Which comes down to the same issues that you're big on the asking but not big on the sharing.

Then you keep poking people for their town reads. And once I provide our lean list you're all.... yeah, that list isn't sitting well with me. You said, and I quote: "I don't think there's any evidence to back up her town reads and it looks cobbled together."  Funny, I don't recall you asking for my reasoning. But hey, I've expanded on it in my recent posts, so feel free to revisit. But this, once again, is you nudging at us. For instance this is a place where I'd EXPECT you to ask us for further detail, but you never do. You just FoS us and move along. Without even providing, say, your own read list. You know... just to show us how a solid totally townie motivated lean list you have

Then you go on a line of questioning with Kronos which you give him multiple answers of what would nolder do!? lol  Came across as weird that a person that you voted for not too long ago was the same person that you were kind soft defending.

You move on to more empty questioning and then eventually voting us.....

Not gonna complete the ISO because you have a lot of content and I don't have time before deadline strikes. But in a nutshell, you're howling. You've started off trying to push Verbal for nothing. And then went on for trying to push us for supposedly defending him. The fact that you voted Nolder and then backed away from it into soft defending him has been giving me pause. And your recent posts have done nothing to change my mind about it.

This is going to be a real bitch to tear into on my phone.

I would much rather lynch a person that has been involved in alot of discussions on D1. Gives me more to go back and look at when preparing for D2. Interactions is how we find mafia... Wich is why I never agree with policy-lynching inactives. I'm here to find mafia, and I find mafia by analyzing interactions.

First off, Nyn, if you're going to try to use my activity against me as proof of my wolfiness, tell me when I've ever been this active as a wolf? Anywhere near this active at all in my entire mafia career? That argument is hogwash and you know it.

Posted

Where did I mention your activity in my last post?

The only time I mentioned your activity in the game, I said it was good to see you posting more.

"Change in game style overnight is troubling" and you mentioned in previous posts about my activity. If that's not what you said then I retract that statement, but you were using that angle iirc.
