I tend to dislike out of game excuses if them become a chronic issue as opposed to someone otherwise active in the thread saying they will be out of town for the weekend or something head uppy like that. Still, sometimes you have to take things at face value until you have a reason to suspect otherwise. Do you have a reason for thinking Hally is lying about her current job situation?

I'm not on her case because she said she was busy, I'm on her case for saying she was busy and then took time to quick read and make a lazy post/vote.

She voted me based on seemingly one post by Verb on page 7 when she hadn't even read pages 8-15. That's about half the game so far.

She cloaked that vote in a joke for "lulz". I didn't even think her vote was serious until she explained. That doesn't point to being a well thought vote it points to rushing to get something out. Yes she's busy but that's not an excuse for rushed/bad play. Like I said I would have much rather she taken the day and focused on work and came back tomorrow with something well thought out and original not this garbage where you quote someone and just say "yeah what that guy said". I can't express enough how lazy I find that and I really hope the people in this game don't let it stand. You're all veteran players you can't tell me that was a good post.

So I should have said this earlier, but I think it should have been pretty clear that my initial post regarding Verb and its scumminess was not a joke.  His opening was very scummy and his reaction was worse.  

 

LouNy is making me second guess myself with that blatant defense on Verb and attempt to direct attention to Nolder.  I really hope Verb/LouNy aren't scum together because I hope it's not that easy.

You brought this up before, but I did not vote Nolder for the reasons Kronos did so this angle is ineffective.  Kronos never even explained his reasons for the vote beyond "that's one of the most random votes I've ever seen."

I do NOT like removing Krak or Cory from the potential scum pool, yet.

Krak has a solid scum game so it's way too early to have him above a null -> Town track. The two things to his benefit are 1. the only game I recall him being this active in early on he was Town and 2. I liked his response to my inquiry and follow through questioning of Leelou in post 143.

Cory you fooled me once as scum. I don't like being fooled. I also don't like the "omg I'm lock clear Town guys" shtick starting with his first post. Meh - looking back to support this argument this was the only post that bothered me, really. Though I suppose the early attempted claim on the "Town Leader" mantle might also have me suspicious. IIRC, you were all "LOCK CLEAR" with Tommy in that game - until the game ended and you were scum.

Actually, now that I look at it, why are Tina and Wolfish off the table, iyo?

Tina's vote in post 106 came across as forced to me. And her questions are framed in such a way as to cast dispersion without actually coming out and saying "this is scummy because of x."

And Wolfish has 4 posts - 0 of which give me a strong Town vibe. And I just now realized he's the other half of Mish. Mish looks - okay, omgus vote aside.

 

So who are your top 3 town leans atm?  Or closest to.

 

 

I have time for one quick post just to respond to 2 things. Reads and such coming after I finish a big chunk of work. Like Nyn mentioned, it's Sukot. I work for a Jewish Federation, so I'm off the next two days. But that means my day today is the suck with meetings and a huge proposal I have to get out by 3.

Also gotta keep a closer eye on LouNy, since I can hardly remember the content fromt heir posts, and checking the posts counts, they have the most posts of the gsme together.

The bolded is surprising. I also don't remember much outside of some business with Nolder and Krak early on. Do you have a good feel for either of their scum games? I don't have a ton of meta experience on either. The only time I saw anti Town Nyn was as 3rd party in the Wizard game. I replaced in on N2, iirc, as a LD. I made a bunch of noise during the night and got recruited by Nyn the night I replaced in. I could look back at that. Time to ISO.

 

 

I don't have a good feel for their meta, no. First of all this is my first proper game in like four months I think, and I'm never very good with meta, it's just a few players I can actually meta read.

 

And yeah, at the point I checked the posts, cory had 33, LouNy together had 35 or 36.

But here he says that Krak didn´t know if Verb was scum. Which means that he doesn´t think that Krak has any other information than town.

1. Yeah I didn't like something Krak said when I was catching up. I don't know whether the scum is him or Verbal or they're bussing or what is going on.

I probably just don't have a good read. It's early and I'm not like putting full confidence 100% sure stamp of approval on my read or anything. It's just what I got right now.

 

3. I'm allowing for possibilities, including being wrong. You're reading my comments and reads as if I'm sure. I don't know Krak or Verbs alignment. Either or both or neither could be mafia and I'm trying to figure out which it is.
