Cloud has been known to derp lately (Read: World's worst fake cop claim at town in Darthe/Wombat T3). I still don't like that he wants to vote off the only detective role we've seen so far so quickly with no other reasoning other than doesn't believe the role claim when Wombat really had no reason to fake reveal the info, especially if he was bussing a teammate.

I'm finally able to get back on.  I notified the mod, I had a death in the family, so no, I haven't been active the past couple of days.  Catching up now.

 

I can confirm this btw. Sorry for not letting everyone know when she did :madmyrddraal:

 

Which reminds me, Tink said he'd be a little more inactive for a few days.

But you just go ahead and try to steer this onto me. I wouldn't actually be a bad lynch soon because who knows what shenanigans the mafia are capable of.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that Cloud tried to get the claim doc lynched yesterday and are now trying to lynch a claimed cop type role today.  Does he believe two players are faking claims? 

 

The fact that he is interested in Hallia is making me doubt my thoughts on her now.

 

His constant vote switching also looks like he is throwing darts to see which one will stick.

No, I don't believe that Dice is lying. I believe his Doc claim, and that coupled with the Vig claims make me doubt Wombat's claim. I have already explained all this.

 

 

Cloud I think a lot of your troubles would go away if you just shut up.

 

FOS @ Halli - for normal Halli reasons we cannot have this still around at the end

FOS @ Praya - Basically not mentioned by scum. trying to slip past.

 

The above two need to die. Cloud is merely derping out loud.

 

With the whole vote control thing, I'm unsure if that was the extent of my role, or if I can still set off bombs with my own bumbling detective work.

 

If I could do it without destroying these pants, I'd be voting Praya right now. Lynch was looking possible until someone swooped in and distracted and pushed onto Cloud...

 

Ok fine.. I will just shut up. I thought that this game was supposed to be about figuring out who the mafia is, and I can't see a better hiding place for the last mafia than with Wombat's claim. I think the mafia are behind right now, and I highly doubt that they will just roll over and die. I think they are planning a last high-risk-high-reward play and this just might be it. I have said everything I wanted to say about this though and I will just ignore it from now on...

Major FOS @ Halli for being derp enough to claim that casting the hammer vote on Basel clears her name (Post 1219, Pg 61)

 

And then post #1229 (Pg 62) - completely misses the point of Mish's line of questioning - we've seen in the few posts that have some content that Halli is smarter than these two plays would give her credit for.

 

I actually really like the first part of your post; it makes sense that the mafia would destabalize  a lynch on a quiet player and try to keep as many of them around till endgame.

You say you find Wombat pingy.... so do you actually agree with the things I have been saying about his claim?

Oh please don't try to discredit my current play by bringing up the fake cop claim which wasn't to be taken that serious in the first place. And as I have already explained (do you even read my posts?) I believe that the Vigs act as detective roles. I also find it interesting how you managed to just ignore my question from last night.

I actually have been busy scumhunting this whole Day and, in my opinion, have explained in depth why I believe that certain people are scummy. Also, when have you ever seen a mafia stick his neck out trying to get the claimed cop lynched while he could as well just NK him?

It doesn't seem particularly odd. I'll admit you might be right that it is a super high risk play but, to be quite frank, I don't see any incentive for the mafia to do that at this point. Maybe if we hadn't killed any mafia so far it might make sense, but winning as mafia is a numbers game and preserving those numbers is a key priority most the time. When you are already down 2 members, throwing another into the fray seems like a dumb move to me. Wombat made it sound like to me that his role is not effective if he is targeted by an action, at least that's what it sounds like to me, not that he can't be NK'd. Given his choice of words, he sounds like an Oracle role. But he left it vague enough that mafia could have interpreted it to mean he was trying to bait a NK which seemed like a smart move to me on Wombat's part.

 

What I DO find odd is it has only been 1 night since this all occured and you are pushing strongly that the only option that makes sense is for mafia to have targeted Wombat. You say "the mafia haven't even tried killing the person who caught their teammate", but dude, seriously, its only been one night. It sounds to me like you are building a case on Wombat that has nothing to do with his own play, which is scummy. Your main points are you don't believe his claim to be credible based on the rest of the setup. My question to you was do you have any other reason to believe Wombat scummy? You admitted you did not. If you are going to lynch claimed investigative roles simply because you don't think the mod would do that when you have no scummy play as backup, excuse me for not understanding your logic.

 

Also, I wasn't trying to discredit you because of that game, I'm just questioning the logic of some of your moves as not being the brightest. Think things through man. That derp comment, no offense meant, was actually a form of defending what you are doing... because honestly, it's the only way I can see a town player saying the things you are saying.

Yeah I guess you are right.. The whole thing with Basel made me severely doubt my scum read on Wombat, but on the other hand we seem to have so many investigative roles this game and an Oracle seems to be pretty strong on it's own right too. I will just drop it though because chances are I'm probably screwing up town's chance of victory by always bringing it up.

Just putting this up for now, but I have noticed that Berf hasn't been listed as voting on any of the lynches, except for the last, where he wasn't voting Basel.

 

That and Pral made a good point, he does seem to be trying to dictate where lynches go.

Of course I don't KNOW for certain, but has he been inconsistent in his story? What's the purpose of the lie? So he doesn't have to vote anyone ever and can poke and prod trains without being responsible for them? Make a case if you have one.

 

Also, you didn't reference any of that as a reason for your vote at all. All you said was he wasn't voting anyone on any of the days except the most recent one in which a vote control seems to have been employed if he's to be believed. So your reason for voting makes absolutly zero sense to me.

 

What about the criticisms the other people voting for you? Do you have any responses to them?
