I'm satisfied to a point that Tina's vote and subsequent obtuseness in not responding was done in an effort to draw people out/get the game in motion.

 

Currently I agree with Darthe about DPR e. Why discourage talking about Darthe and his play if you want to lynch him for it?

My thoughts: I'll be around at deadline, so I can always pop a vote onto whatever wagon to avoid a random lynch. Having said that, I would rather vote Despo, Darther, or Wombat at this point to see where we're at. They've all made shady posts (imho) with no provocation.

 

I'll also point out that Tina's train got it's first push from (and this is just what I remember - I'll go back to confirm it) Wombat when he "pointed out" her "sheep" vote on Despo, right after I voted him.

 

By that logic, from him and those voting her, GF should have also been called out on her sheeping Wombat. But no one has mentioned that...

 

I'll be back with a confirmation on that point in just a sec.

The rules imply that there are no random lynches this game. Verbal and I have already alluded to this.

The idea is to lynch him, thus shutting his pie-hole so that the rest of the game can continue sans his nonsense. After reviewing Wombat's conveniently placed links, it would seem that whenever our Darther is using "counter intuitive reasoning", the town pays a heavy price.

The rules don't imply it - they clearly state it. i went back and read it to. Interestingly, the rules don't mention a thing about the Town still getting needed info even if there is no lynch, so I'm wondering why you think it's a good idea to reassure everyone that there won't be a random lynch?

Yeah, 8 hours to deadline and most Americans will be asleep for most of that.

 

With a 24 hour deadline and majority + 1 required for lynch, I'd say Nolder is trying to hamper the lynch process. I can think of some reasons as to why he'd do that, but I'd rather not speculate atm. DPR fearmongering about the detriments of a no lynch given this situation reeks of him trying to rush a mislynch on Tina imo.

Going through and rereading, a few things stood out to me.

 

 

First off, I'm curious - Does anything happen normally on a N0? Can people submit actions, or is it a time for joking?

 

I don't really see how night talk is stupid, as Wombat has pointed out a few times; you really could take it either way, thinking that either the people posting a lot have something special going on, and are more interested, or the quiet ones don't want to attract attention.  I don't think it really matters either way.  Later there's mention of mafia rolefishing, and I feel like that's a bit overly dramatic.

 

Darthe kinda latched onto Despo's post in the beginning, seemed pretty lazy to me.

 

Tina hops on with no real substance, and I believe she did it again later with her second vote.  Mish made a mention of it, and I agree with her there.  For the moment, I think DPR's town, with Tina/Darthe as possible scum.
