That doesn't make him scum, though. Darthe's logic here keeps reminding me of some of the crazier stuff Mynd would come out with on D1, often when he was town.

 

Exactly.  A post number doesn't make me mafia, high or low.  Tendencies between games do.  

Likewise, townies can be wrong just as easily as mafia.  If Peace disagrees with either statement then he can't be town because these are generally known mafia truths.

Darthe, can you explain what you meant by 'Townies can be wrong just as easily  as mafia'? The first time I read it as 'Town players can be wrong just as easily as Mafia Players' (which I know doesn't make much sense in the context of the what you were saying about post counts) the second time I read it as 'Town players may just be wrong rather than being mafia' when guessing someones alignment based on their number of posts, but I wouldn't think that would be statement anyone would disagree with.

Yeah, my father passed away on Thursday, so we flew out Friday to South Carolina, I'm the only family he has, so I have to settle his estate. I'll be home on Sunday. I'm hijacking my mother's computer as often as I can, but it's a lot to do. I'll be home Sunday evening, and my activity will be back to normal.

Actually it is unrelated, in a sense. See, Peace has decided to vote me based on two things: his belief that I am wrong and the aforementioned statistics of the matter setting an odd precedent. However, logically we can all agree that post number has little to do wit alignment in general so for peace to disagree with that would essentially be to disagree with basic game logic, which he is too good to do regularly. The other part of this, me being wrong, holds the other basis for his vote. So the question I proposed was: can townies be wrong? If he says no he is a liar, if he says yes he should logically unvote as it is the basis of his vote.

 

However, peace did neither of these things. Instead he brushed off my argument with some excuse, entirely attempting to avoid the situation.

 

There you have it. Peace has done something fishy and we have good play going.

I think Peace looks a bit bad now for jumping on Darthe like that, I guesses from the first time it got pointed out to Darthe that Time was AWOL and he didn't respond, that is was his method of beating the grass for snakes and getting D1 going. And Peace bought it.

I think it is off about Peace getting on Darthe, but it could just be pressure that he uses when he plays normally... I think that as a new player, Via is doing well, but I have to say that I somewhat disagree with her reasoning for her vote... on day one, people come and go and usually wait for someone else to talk before saying something... or they have nothing to say... I do agree that he needed prodding though...
