For a ninth time in a row? Even for me, that would be damn near impossible. No, I'm Town and really happy with my character. Gamefaqs.com rated this character as one of the 100 most iconic video game characters of all time.

While I do think that Alannalynn is acting squirrelly even for her in this game, we can take a logic approach.

 

If we can narrow down each of us onto smaller lists, we can begin to narrow down who is scum. It appears that this game follows the standard FF cannon (ie. Cloud is likely town in this game) so we don't have to mass reveal who we are, but we can reveal what FF series we are from, to break down who we are.

 

FoS for already suggesting mass reveals of any type.

This is really the only reason why I like LoZ more. Both have great storyline and great characters, but FF just gets so bogged down sometimes.

Ocarina of time is very good, but Skyward Sword is the best imo. Oot was my fav right until SS came out.

Considering that mass reveals have been explicitly forbidden by the modess, I don't see why Red or Mynd are taking off on this track of mass revealing. No more than three reveals per day. Of which, the stating of which game you are from is one reveal. So those three reveals could get used up rather quickly.

 

I too dislike the way in which Songstress and Lenlo had been afraid to put a second vote on someone right away at the start of the game. If it's a joke, it's a joke. People can usually tell when a vote is a joke, but their reluctance to place so called "joke-votes" on Ishy once Red had voted Ishy pings. Getting the game started is never a bad thing, imo.

This post, especially the bold part interested me. A few others have pointed it out, so it's nothing new, but this is odd. Why say that it's your turn to be mafia? It’s due to random chance what role you get.

Town and really happy with your character, huh? Noted. I don't like how you slipped that in there after saying that getting a mafia role 9 times in a row is pretty impossible. I'm not trying to start a math discussion *glares at BG and Mynd* but streaks occur in random data (like determining who is town or scum in mafia) much more often that you'd think.

 

Well this is an FF game so I'm guessing there are a bunch of mason teams. Moogle, Al Bhed, Summoners, Maesters, Vieras... Chocobo trainers! Different people in Mason teams on different sides because Maesters are so secretive. Or like a group of Espers/Aeons with one night each abilities or something. Or three mafia combining to form Sephiroth if they get hold of the right item. The possibilities...

 

 

On second thought, I won't try guessing..

Wow. Lots of speculation here. Lots of factions too. That could make for a very interesting game in the future. But what I'm interested in is the fact that you bring up Mason teams out of nowhere. Noted.

Life is not complete until you experience a total grind-fest like what happens in any FF game. And I happen to like grinding. Because that’s when you get cool new abilities and stuff to test out and use.

 

Unvote. The way that Ishy slipped that hint about his character in after saying that he wasn't mafia bugs me. It was completely unnecessary, as Red pointed out, and I don't think it served any purpose except to possibly use up one of the three reveals that we are allowed a day. Even if it didn't use one up, all someone would have to do is find the list and read it to narrow down the possibilities as to his character - whether it's town or scum. Vote: Ishy.

Grinding has a time and a place... like if you want to take down the Ruby and Emerald Weapons. But to prevent further progress in a game w/o grinding suuucks. You should be able to finish the game without it, though it would extremely tough. I remember in FFVII (first time) when I finished with level 35ish guys and my friend was like "WTF!!! How? Why?"

 

 

Also, I agree that Ishy being all peachy about his character was out of place and a bit too on the nose.
