Well I do follow her everywhere but that is my job as her warder.

 

I do play my own game in mafia. If the points are valid then I listen. What I have seen so far against her has not really been valid IMO.

 

I found her play with regard to the Day finder ability pretty good. Even if the mafia apparently managed to block her anyway. In any case there are plenty of others that should be higher up the suspect list than her at this point.

I agree. As I said earlier, Ithi made a bold move, it worked, to which I say well done. She's not on my list of suspects at this point, but some of those making accusations against her are moving up the list.

Ok, as I've been catching up, I've picked up two things.

 

First, as others have pointed out, Mynd was EP's biggest defender on Day 1. And we know that EP flipped scum. So right away, Mynd goes up my list.

i didn't jump on his trian, i expelained why i thought that peace woudl be a good lynch over the night. my thoughts haven't changed even though i'm taking ithi with a grain of salt right not for her pingful reveal and boastful assumptions.

 

What boastful assumptions? She never claimed anything that I saw - other people were the ones that ran with the idea that she had detected EP. And her reveal didn't seem scummy to me - she was the leader vote getter at the time.

 

But I never even implied I had 'info' on Peace.

Emphasis mine. When Day started I'm pretty sure that most people thought you were certain. Think and is are different -> stall to his word against yours. He's hella scummy, but looking at it from a different perspective I get his defense and tbh I'm not ready to bank on your word again. Worked wonders first time but what are the odds. Nothing personal, just good business

 

Red jumping on his train first is weirdo though. I'm almost willing to vote her based on the fact that her game has been off which never really happens :P I want to hear what she has to say.

 

The only certainties in mafia come from the scum team. If anyone out there thought that she was certain after she told us that she had a null result from last night then I would say that they need to reevaluate their position. Nowhere did I see anything that said that she thought that she was certain of Peace's alignment. Getting EP was lucky - and Peace does genuinely look scummy to me for his questioning of her role yesterday - so much so that I had voted him instead of EP yesterday. Only at the end did he switch - after it was apparent that EP was going down. Final votecount provided for emphasis as well as identifying who voted where.

Two Reveals have been used.

 

If we are looking at who didn't hop on EP's bandwagon until the end, then I would go from Darthe/Peace to Mynd. Mynd has explained that he hammered due to his not believing EP's character claim, not due to Ithi's claim of LD. I'd be looking harder as those players who voted EP with the assumption that Ithi had indeed detected him - because that's where I think the bussing scum are hiding. And for those who didn't vote EP, there are BG, Lenlo, myself, Tiink, Red, Andrew, Soy, and Maw. Soy and Maw have asked for replacements, so I don't really know what they were trying to go for nor can we ask them. But the ones that I find most interesting in the not voting for EP column are BG and Lenlo - because they have no votes placed at all at the end of the phase.

He already said he is vanilla town, which I should not have counted as a third reveal. Your moddess apologizes for trying to mod without her breakfast. He may give you his character if he wishes, which would be the third reveal.

Now back to Peace - And for another thing, he claimed Vivi, and he said that with EP dying, he became vanilla. Vivi is a black mage, so it means that he casts attacking and status altering spells. Not the kind of spells that I would think would dispel stuff like silence. Dispel being the key word there. I think the claim is bogus. Better than EP's, but still a fake. Vote: Peace.

Peace started out very pro-EP, in one post, sticking up for him and pointing the FOS at Jack in a paragraph. I also note however that CosmicPanda, Maw, Alanna and Mynd did the same. (and me...)

 

My concern about EP's lynch was that Ithi might have been scum picking on a weaker player. When she explained what she was up to, I was happy to go along with it.

 

We still shouldn't discount Ithi as scum. It's most likely she's town, so I'm happy to simply congratulate her for lynching EP at the moment. However, there's a slight possibility that there are two scum teams (particularly with the fad for multiple factions that seems to be sweeping DM mafia at the moment), or that she's a fancy third party, or that she was simply bussing her scumbuddy for town cred. This will become more important later in the game, if she is still alive.

 

So, I've read through the day's posts. We have a wagon on Peace and a wagon on Maw, with some people going for Mynd. There hasn't been an actual case presented for any of them, so I'm leery of voting at this point. Personally, I'm leaning Maw, but I'd like to go back and look properly.

2nd - i'm not buying Peaces "oh dang now my role is useless" song and dance. he also appears to have gone 180 on the EP thing. i like him for a lynch come morning.

 

3rd - Mynd has chilled out. could be he's scared of the LD. i find this switch of playstyle ineresting

 

4th - i dislike that Ishya nd Panda have picked up chirping the mass reveal angle. it stinks to high heaven. tbh even if names aren't attacked to roles, its safe to assume the more prominate and main characters will have good roles which will make the scums job easier. i also still think it goes against the spirit of the game.

 

5th - i'm willing to give Ithi the benefit of the doubt now, but i'm not content to consider her 100% confirmed. the more scum you catch us, the happier more i'll believe your claim. i'm still watching you, but you've moved further down my list right now. also, word of advice, i'd go ahead and write down the post #'s of those who have said the statement for future referance. also check with Kea to make sure you can check statements from previous days this way we know if we need to say it again or not.

IMPORTANT: I believe peace for now despite his highly scummy behavior for one reason and one reason only. I have a certain similar task to fulfill and it seems too random for him to make that up as a false claim when I have it as well. So, if I am NK'd or the town, which I am a part of, decides to lynch me then it should help confirm him or vice versa.

 

Would be good of you to give us something on your role.. Any chance you can do it without revealing? But if you think it'll be detrimental then don't bother. Given that this kind of role even exists then yeah it's too much of a chance. I'd recommend Ithi checking Darthe's town statement cuz that would get us better perspective on both Darthe and Peace. If they're scum buddies and Darthe is caught coming to Peace's defense then that'll put us ahead. It's possible that they're on opposing sides but I doubt it.

 

It is not an easy one to reveal as it could lead to my nk, but my death won't be detrimental to the town if I do die. I can however confirm

Ultimecia as being part of the game.

@Razen, I would agree with the last part of your statement that Vivi seems an unlikely counter, however she could have used stop, sleep, or death. Idk, seems a bit weak but considering my own role I am still inclined to believe.

Vivi was good with the destructive magics. Fire and lightning and ice and all that fun stuff. Heals and status counters were more Eiko and Dagger's specialties I think. It's been a while since I played 9. ( But all of this seriously has me wanting to start a new FF marathon.)

The problem here is that silence is a status-alteration spell, which like silencing in a mafia game, causes unpleasant things in the FF world. Vivi doesn't cast spells that take these status ailments away - he causes them. So what I believed that he was trying to hint at was taking away the silencing ability that EP had. Which would not be something that Vivi normally does. Darthe says that he could have casted another status-spell over it, which is a possibility, but he also pointed out that Peace's claim is an unlikely counter to EP. That's really all that I have, but the claim doesn't sit right with me given the circumstances.

Me too! But I don't know which one I should start with, as I like them all for different reasons. Difficult choices...

 

But agreed on Eiko and Dagger being the ones that countered those spells. It wouldn't have even had to have been a character from 9 as long as it was some type of a healer character. But Vivi? That's a little hard to believe as countering like that.

Actually, Razen makes a lot of sense about Peace's claim, but I just can't wrap my head around why Peace would stick his neck out for a fellow mafia like that. Dunno, but from a Mod perspective, it doesn't fit the profile.

Peace's claim doesnt make sense to me. I dont know much about FF only FF10, FF7 and the basic magic colors. Black magic just doesnt do cure/protect/help anyone it destroys/hurts/stops something. I would expect black magic to be more vig/roleblock/bomb for that. Dont like it.

One thing I want to point out that is very interesting. My antagonist from Day 1 has not voted me yet others are using her for a reason to vote for me. Ithi, keep that in mind with those awesome scum hunting abilities you have on future days.
