Your assumption was that my case on you was entirely fabricated to take the heat off of Basel. That assumption was incorrect.

 

The reason I backed off my case on you was because I wasn't 100% certain of it to begin with, and after watching the reactions I asked for the opinions of two people whose take on you I was more likely to trust than others (EP and Key).

 

I was pretty sure the Basel lynch was mostly due to his defense of Lenlo D1, but after I looked back through my notes I realized there were other things that might be suspicious - the fact that he was the 8th vote on Kate's train (could have been scum bussing the teammate)... the fact that he actually tried to back up Kate's fake claim... and the fact that he appeared to be fishing for Ishy's reasoning to be the hammer on Kate. Once EP told me he trusted you, Mynd, I decided to back off and see whether Basel flipped scum or not. And once Key told me she trusted you, I made the decision to drop my case entirely.

 

I am in no way on the mafia team or trying to help them. Hopefully that will become clear soon.

But I have read them finally and have something I'd like to add.

 

 

Secondly, let's go back to Occam's Razor. You claim that twice I pushed a lynch on Kate to enact some kind of gambit. Essentially, you argue that lynching Kate made me look town in everyone's eyes, including Ishy's, way after I had already been vetted as Jedi, so that we could lose a mafia (one who otherwise was below the radar until I spoke up) on Day 2 in a 22 player game.

 

Except that you were never vetted as Jedi, Mynd. You waited till EP announced just what Jedi could do in this game, and then you claimed you had the same powers. That proved nothing, and vetted nothing.

 

Eternal Phoenix had no way of knowing that all Jedi have the same powers. Neither did I at that point, but when he revealed his powers, I noticed that they were the same as mine. This is when it began to occur to me that the Jedi all had the same options because it fit with our one shot stipulation. I would not have made this connection had I not been a Jedi. Even if I had the same powers as EP but was a Sith, I would not have made the connection that all Jedi have the same powers.

 

Bottom line: I could not have vetted EP or known that there was any connection to EP's powers with other Jedi if I had not been a Jedi with those powers myself.

MYND IS JEDI. And from what Mynd wrote, we know EP is one aswell.

 

And Kate's wording when she was lynched was that she had the same powers as EP and Mynd claimed.

 

But there's one mitigating factor you're overlooking. Kate was scum. She threw around every WIFOM in the book before she went out to create this very situation. I wouldn't believe her if she said the sky was blue. If you're willing to case people based on the statements of a proven scum, then I don't know what else to tell you.

 

I didn't overlook that, darlin', I specifically noted that and took that into account when I was building my case. She threw around a lot of WIFOM, true, but as I said, she made a point about Mynd's WIFOM that he never addressed, and he still hasn't addressed since I brought it up.

 

The really funny thing to me is, the longer this goes on, the more I wonder if I could be misinterpreting things... perhaps it's the WIFOM making me a bit giddy. I'm not letting go right now, so long as Mynd continues to ignore several of my points.

 

At very least, even if Basel dies and flips scum, I look like a complete noob, and I die for it tomorrow, this case will have given the town something more to work off of.

I am finding the blatant assumption by just about everyone that I did nothing to fight this, and never used my Jedi power in my own defense, a bit strange. Darthe, you may have noticed that my last posts were late at night, and that we are in the same time zone. There's such a thing called sleep. I never had any expectation that this lynch would proceed so fast overnight, and figured I could still deal with the situation come morning. I am willing to discuss the usage of my power post-game, once I won't be revealing any information that people might be able to use.
