Spending too much time in the band?

Ok, I always think these are fun ^_^

 

 

You know you've spent to much time at the band when:

 

1. You accidently order an MG Brew at the bar.

2. You cringe whenever a liquid spills until you've reassured yourself that Brew infact doesn't exist.

3. You name a pet after your Horse/Bow/Sword.

4. You turn on the radio and wonder if you can get to the computer to post what you're currently listening to.

5. You press the refresh button to 20 times in a row to see if anybody new has posted.

6. You tell your friends you got promoted to Captain.

7. They understand what you're talking about O.o

8. You occasionaly have the urge to start a brawl.

9. You wonder why there isn't any table throwing in real bar brawls.

10. You see a game of golf and wonder why the person toting the golf bag isn't a sexy green witch.

 

11. ???

11. When you say "Dovie'andi se tovya sagain" everytime you start something new

12. When the group has continued to keep posting on you're welcome thread for RR week, even though its 12 pgs long and you've moved to the next group!! ;)

 

13. When you're sad you can't post in you're welcome thread that their spaming because you can only post in one group at a time during RR!! :(

14. When the computer is the first thing you go to when you get home, even before changing out of an uncomfortable uniform.

 

15. When you spend so much time in the Band that you forget to eat dinner several times a week

 

16. When you are dead tired and have to get up, but you see this thread and decide to post in it anyway

 

17. When your msn list has 70 Band members but only 10 real life friends

 

18. When you know the cell phone number of your Band buddies

 

19. When you tell those friends you are taking a "LOA" instead of a Leave of Absense

 

20. When you get more riled up over personal problems in the Band than at Work or at home

 

21. When you spend more time talking to Band members than anyone else

 

22. When you respond to your Band name out in the real world.

 

23. When you don't go with friends so you can spend time chatting with band members on msn.... and lie about what you are REALLY doing instead of going out

 

24. When at a concert all you can think about is writing your gig review for points

 

25. When you have been in the Band over a year and are even MORE involved than ever

 

And finally number 26..

 

When you take a LOA so you can "escape" to Real Life!

and yeah, I react to my nickname IRL but I've had that one for years and it's not only Band related :P

 

28. when you're in vietnam for work and you sit in a meeting and your mind keeps wandering off for that next great article in HS or for those great ideas for a Band Show.

 

29. when you're abroad and refuse to go out for a drink IRL cuz you wanna get to the computer and see what's been posted. :?

 

30. When you're on semi-LOA but post as much as when you're not

4, 6, 8, 11, definately 14, 16, 17 (well, more DMers...that count?), 20, 21, 22, not really 26, I just escape without an LOA :oops: , 27 (sometimes), 29 (well...I don't go out for a drink...but go out to other places....), 32, 33.

34. You can't concentrate on shcool, cuz you are really wishing to post at the band...and sometimes are.

43. You walk into a Bar and ask for a Battle Brew.

44. You walk into a Bar and ask for a Flaming Shot.

45. You walk into a Bar and ask for a Bandy.

46. You walk into a Bar and ask for a Guinnfantry.

 

The last one is probably most likely to happen as it close to Guinness...and a slip of the tongue may happen!
