we;re a neighbor hood watch team, we get a tracker report (list of all NA's submitted each night) and a watcher report (list of the people targeted). we aren't told who targetted who; but our lists can help figure out false role claims and if a person is being truthful about who they targetted. the only down side is that we're not informed if there are dulpicate roles or how many times a person is targetted, and or 28 players, i think we have some repeating roles. hopefully this quells some confusion.

 

also, major FoS @ Turin for trying to dig out whose on the lists. it just feels like your trying to cover yourself for a role claim later, which is scummy imo. you seem to really want to know what roles are on that list and i really dislike that. i only listed roles off the list which i felt were anti-town in nature; i forgot to list Blocker as well. Right now, 5 of the NA's we have listed are anti-town in nature imo

 

- NK (which we know Hoof was the target via Corner Report)

- Blocker

- Re-Director

- Vote Controller

- Silencer

 

 

the Blocker, RD & VC i've seen as both Town and Scum, yet becuase of the nature of their roles, they can cause just as much damage regaurdless of alignment.

 

but the Silence role and NK are most likely scum aligned. as i'm not caught up yet i can't determine why they'd target Nol (either to shut him up as town or to try and clear him as scum) but Meesh's actions still scream scum for calling attention to it reguardless of what her reason was.

i'm unsure what your getting at by stating you don't like the way i post. i don't mean to sound harsh but i don't capitalize, i don't do grammer and i don't spell check; this is an internet forum, not a term papaer for college. if you don't like my posting style well honey, tough cookies cause i'm set in my ways.

 

if this isn't what your talking about, then i apologize for my gruff attitude and hope that you'll explain what you mean by posting style.

Well, we're Masons, and Neighborhood Watch all at once. Because we get info, and Masons usually don't. Masons can just talk to each other. We're special So the name of our role is both.

when a Watcher and a tracker are put on a team together they are then considered to be a "Neighborhood watch". the mason part comes from us both being town, yet being able to talk off thread. hence the Mason Neighbor Hood watch team. i've seen the Neighborhood watch term used for this combo in Lily's Disney mafia (which is the game Womby is referring too) and in one other game i believe.

doesn't a re-director target two poeple. i mean, the nature of the role is to re-direct targets from one player to another correct.

 

 

ah my attitude that i can see. yeah i can be a bit (well more than a bit) agressive in these games. i'm a literal bull dog and screw beating the grass to find the snakes, i take a weed eater to it and see what pops out. still, it's my play style *shrugs* to each their own.

 

sorry your dropping the game though, i haven't really been able to play a game with you and i've heard your a really good player; so i hope to see you again also, totally get what you mean about RL, i've been alot mroe emotional and snippy the past 3 months because of RL stresses. hopefully your situtation changes and if you need a shoulder to lean on my PM is always open *snuggle*

oh and Coorosive, it may help if you post why you don't believe BG's claim. can you quote what made you feel this way?

Red, Levity already stated before that she picked BG as the player to misdirect, because she was attempting to find out if his cop claim was real.

 

My original plan was to test if BG at least had an actual night action or not. For example, if he had claimed to scan someone and did not mention being informed that his action was altered, it would lead me to believe he didn't truly have a night action at all. But if players here aren't even informed of this, then this means only I know the player he got re-directed to last night, UNLESS I myself got roleblocked somehow.

 

I also re-directed his action to a player I myself found only a tiny bit suspicious of D1; I didn't reveal this because I wanted to conceal my FLAWLESS MASTER PLAN which obviously only served to cause needless shenanigans. And I understand there was a number of other ways my idea could go awry, but I never take considerable risks in mafia and wanted to take a chance for once.

 

 

She avoided saying the target name until just now but she mentioned BG right off. It's the whole confusion that happened earlier in regards to her understanding to how her role worked.

Okay I'm really confused :s I'm ashamed to admit but I was just going with other people's votes :( I didn't know what to do and I thought it would help speed up D2. I see how it looks scummy but it's the honest-to-god truth, I just didn't know who to vote for so I went with who had the most at the time :/ I promise I won't do that from now on though... And you guys are wondering why I am not fighting back? Well, I tend to back down in a fight really easy (it's one of my many flaws) and give in to the other side, if you guys have your mind set thinking that I am mafia I am pretty sure I can't change that :/ I've dug myself down too far with a post and now I can't get back out so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get lynched today... Well, I ended up moving flats last night so I postponed my read until today.

I have finally managed to read the entire thread. I must say that you people have managed to keep the thread very busy for 2 days. I must say I was inclined to tolerate but not believe BG's finder claim at first but now I feel a lot better about it since Maw's back up.

The Neighbor's role is interesting but I do believe it.

 

I think that today will defiantly be between Spirit and Corro. Meesh I still think is worth keeping around for a bit longer

 

Corro I know that you are new but the deep end is the only way to learn in mafia lol. I feel that there is something not quite right with you even with your noob card taken into account. You say you are giving up a fight but you only have 2 votes on you. That's 1/6th of the votes you need and not even the the highest count. So a word of advice, If you are roled then don't reveal until you are very close to a lynch, like L -1 or 2. We don't need a premature reveal from anyone especially if you are town.

BTW im sure if you made a reasoned case about someone who you find more scummy you could convince people not to vote for you. Just think of it like a court room drama

I am struggling a bit to decide between the two myself. Corossive's reasoning leaves a lot to desire but... I'm not sure about her yet.

 

In Spirit's case it is scummy to vote against someone who is currently considered a verified cop. But then I sort of wonder... how dumb would scum be to make such a conspicuous and contradictory move? And as a townie it is unwise.

 

So I had a thought. Is it possible that spirit's vote is being controlled by the vote controller? Seems like a slam dunk. Making her vote for BG will make us all jump her like a pack of wolves and do the dirty work for the baddies. The only thing that eats at me about this theory is the fact that she unvoted BG and then voted him again. I'm not sure if that would be allowed if her vote was being forced. Maybe the more mafia savvy of you will know.

 

These are my thoughts so far. I don't want to place a vote till I'm more or less sure so I'll be holding off for a while longer.
